I would love to sell high on him the way I wanted to sell high on Klein last year, but we may have to keep him for expansion draft purposes. The fact that he still has another year on his deal is a big reason he was a target. But agreed in that he is playing very well. He had no business being on the first pair on his off side, and that's AV's fault not Holden's. He looks much more comfortable getting second pair matchups, and with a more stay-at-home partner.

They should keep Holden he's having a better season than McD. This team needs to think about winning the cup 22 years and going

LOL...Girardi is so bad that I don't even know if he can last in the AHL. Feel bad for the guy but he should just retire after this season.

Stupid overhandling of the puck is letting Arizona stay in the game.

That call on Mcd was the worst I have ever seen. I dont know what else Gorton is waiting but he needs to address the right side of this d soon. Sit Girardi at least for a few weeks and play Clendening or something. Cant be worse than this travesty of defense.

LOL...what a weird game. Puempel with hat-trick of all people. What the fuck was Mike Smith doing there at the end. Should be arrested for assault with deadly weapon.

Puempel playing well here can only be a good thing. Another guy they could package in a deal for a player to make the team better in the playoffs. Gorton needs to step in with Girardi since AV clearly isn't getting it. At this point, I'd buy him out. It's come to that. Great player years ago. He just doesn't have it any longer.

When you are missing 3 of your top 8 or 9 forwards for this long (2 of the top 6) it takes a toll on you for sure. To me every point they get without these guys is huge. Clearly they have kept their heads above water, and they deserve credit for that.

4 games left until their bye week. Nash and Buch should miss 2 or 3 more games. Maybe back for last game before the break, but worst case barring a setback both will be back after the break. And Z I would say 7 or 8 more games and he'll be back as well. So we are very close to being healthy upfront, and that will be huge.

What will also be huge is the playing time guys like Puempel have gotten due to injury. That can only benefit the team in the long haul. Because of that I am not worried about the forwards at all. The injured guys will be back soon, and very few teams, if any, have the depth we do upfront.

We need to focus on the D in order for this to be a complete team with a legit shot at a cup. We need a top 4 R shot dman. That would be my 100% focus if I was Gorton. If they can add that guy this team will have the ability to compete with any team IMO. We'll see if he can get it done.

Rangers know what the rest of the hockey world does. Shattenkirk is a die hard Rangers fan and has made it clear he only wants to play here. So, I don't see the Rangers giving up the world for a righty defenseman. However, if you could work a Staal and others deal for Faulk, it has to be considered. Not sure they are a match if the Rangers won't include Hayes.

Chuck needs to come back. LOL. His go for it all mentality was not the way to go. However, he did have some good posts. I wonder if the Rangers secretly put Buchnevich on the juice to quickly add 20 pounds of muscle. Kid was 150 pounds at most.

Oh it's Chuck alright. I knew it was him from "RangerFan's" very first post, which was in the McIlrath waiver thread. I even shot him an inbox right after saying welcome back and he ignored it. Not cool Chuck, not cool.

I mean look at this post which was the very first one:

That thread got him so worked up he created a whole new account to blow off steam. Nice try Chuckles...welcome back!
