alright im workin on a deal in my fantasy league and I have a deal on the table that I may accept tell me what you thinkI get marion and jose calderonfor mike miller and mike bibbyand a deal on the side with another member of the league may be,I get monta ellis and marvin williams for boris diaw and shareef abdur rahim.HELP
definately don't do the first one mike miller has really emerged this year and marion is better but not by much and Mike Bibby is way better than Jose Calderon and plus he will not get many minutes because T.J. Ford is coming back and will start.For the second one I would do it because Monta Ellis has been a great find this year and has been really consistent throughout the whole year and boris diaw has really struggled to find his shot and is really inconsistent. Shareef is also very inconsistent as he can have huge games but then very bad ones and sometimes he starts and other times he is on the bench. Marvin Williams comes off the bench too but he gets extended playing time and has been improving over the year and will continue in the 2nd half of the season.
im a little sluggish in rebounds so I want marion so badly. Marion by himself almost has more stls and blks than bibby and miller combined. Its so tough. MORE ADVICE PLEASE
Well I need a list of like who your good rebounders are on your team. And how does the point system work?
theres 2 stats for rebounds orebs and rebsmy good rebounders are shaq ben wallace and jkidd. I want marion because he helps in 2 stats on rebs and when rashard lewis comes back I would have jkiddrashard lewismarionbig benwhich would be hella nice along with monta ellis in that mix.
o and its a head to head league so if you win a stat you get a point so every time you win orebs and rebs you get 2 points. 11 pts total which are fgm fg% ft% pts rebs orebs blks stls asts to 3ptswierd league I know
O ok well ya you do have pretty bad rebounders overall but that is still a tough trade to do even though Marion will get you your much needed rebounds. The only problem is that you are getting a way worse guard in return I wouldn't do it in my league but I have great rebounders with Chandler, Jermaine O'Neal, Dalembert,Biedrins, Butler, and Deng.
I could make a smaller deal for bogut or possibly curry with bibby or miller as bargaining chips. I would like to deal bibby for curry if possible but I doubt he'll bite on it.
Well if you could do that then go right on ahead but as you said he probabaly won't do it Curry is having a breakout season and has only missed 1 game the whole year and plus Mike Bibby isn't having a bad year but he has struggled with his jump shot throughout the year.
still contemplating the marion deal. bibby and miller is alot but marion is hands down best fantasy player in the league
You think Marion is the best fantasy player in the league.... you have to be kidding right. Dirk, Duncan, Garnett, Kobe, and Wade are all better than him along with some others.
......no im not kidding you, when you have a guy who drops a double double every night and 2stls and 2 blks, while shooting very high %s and hitting alot of threes, I think that might warrant being the best if not extremely close. He does everything very well except asts. Thats it. Everything else hes nasty at.

Ya I am in a fantasy league and am 12-1 at the moment so I think I know what I'm talking about. LeBron was the unanimous first pick your league must know nothing about basketball. Marion didn't get picked until the 2nd round in our draft. Marion is good but not better than players like Arenas, Wade, Nowitzki, Bryant, Duncan, any of them.
I kno hes not like number one overall. Hes ranked number one in 2 of my leagues but I would rather have marion. And I have no idea where you get off saying I know nothing about basketball. I was just saying what he is in my leagues. The leagues your in really must have the stats mest up because if arenas is better in your league than marion, there really is something wrong with that. And im assuming you must have had like 8 people in your league with that kind of draft where hes in the 2nd round because thats just ridiculous.
Ya I do have 8 people in my league how is Gilbert not better than him...? He is averaging like 29 a game plus over 5 rebounds and assists per game...pretty hard to beat that. Shawn Marion is averaging like 18 and 8 a game and probabaly like 2 or 3 assists.
18 and 12 with 2 stls and 2 blks a game along with I believe roughly 2 3pters a game. That covers basically every stat extremely well.
