after hearing on a documentary today, (filmed 8 yrs back) : "Van Halen sold 10X more albums internationally, than U2"....

I got to counting: Van Halen sold 56, Million LP's in the USA, more of course around the world.

In 2007, the Eagles issued a full album of new material for the first time in nearly 30 years withLong Road Out of Eden. The album debuted at #1 on several charts around the world; including Norway and the United Kingdom. The album featured five consecutive Top 40 singles on the adult contemporary charts, and was certified 7× Platinum in the US.
