I've pushing hard for Noel since late October, but pairing Noel at C with Plumlee at PF still gives us ZERO 2-way players in our starting line up. That's not a recipe for success. Harklesss would be the closest thing we have for a 2-way player, but he's average at both, at best. You can't play 2 on five (or 2.5 on 5) at both ends of the court and expect to succeed.

That's why I'd love to see us pair Noel with a solid 2-way PF like Ibaka or Millsap, someone that is decidedly above average at both ends of the court.

Korver would just be a temporary throw in to give us some scoring off the bench until a permanent solution can be found. Or not. I'm indifferent on this one, but the thread title says they are shopping both. So, I'd take Korver if it helped facilitate a deal that nets us Millsap.

Korver is a great pure shooter. At everything else, meh. And he's old.

I watched him with the Bulls for a few years.

He's a tweener that's too slow for SG and plays too small for SF.

Philly actually played him at PF for a while, for lack of any position he was good.

Just two seasons ago, he was the starting SG on a 60-win team while leading the entire league in 3FG% (.492), while playing 32 MPG.

Because their starting front court consisted of Al Horford, Paul Millsap and DeMarre Carroll, they could cover for Korver's weak defense.

But I agree, at his current age, he's nothing more than an older, slightly more efficient version of Allen Crabbe.

I could see Korver and Sefolosha going to OKC for Sabonis, Payne, and a couple years of swap rights.

Sefolosha would be a good pickup for that CLE 1st after we trade Crabbe for Noel.

They won't be trading Sefolosha I think. He's been good, has a favorable contract and it's Bazemore who they should try to offload.

Millsap to Toronto indeed makes a lot of sense. I don't think they have the assets to get Cousins, even if they offer JV + Ross it is still short of what Sacramento will be expecting. Millsap and JV in the frontcourt looks threatening.

Korver makes sense for the Bucks as a stop gap signing before Middleton returns in 2-3 months.

I agree with that personally, but as i understand it, Raptors management appreciates the current state in which the players are happy, the fans are happy, everything is running smoothly and club revenue is only going up.
