When will the participants be announced? The only guaranteed player to participate is Dirk Nowitzki. I guess Jason Kapono will be in it too because he is owning the league in 3 Point Field Goal Percentage.Tony! Use this thread as the official Three Point Contest Thread!Edited by CelticBalla32:ParticipantsDirk NowitzkiGilbert ArenasDamon JonesJason KaponoMike MillerJason Terry
Gerald Green should be in it! I don't think you can do both though. Ya, Kapono is money, he could win it I think.
I also read on HoopsHype yesterday that Damon Jones will be in it.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DRob-50-Forever @ Feb 6 2007, 12:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Gerald Green should be in it! Ray Allen had too many chances so I wouldnt add him.-Dirk Nowitzki-Mike Miller-Steve Nash-Jason Kapono-Raja Bell( he was invited last year but couldnt for family reasons)-Gilbert Arenas
What about Al Harrington? The guy's shooting 46% on 3s.I'd go withAl HarringtonDirk NotwitzkiMike MillerJason KaponoBrent BarrySteve Nash
Apparently Anthony Parker was invited, but he declined because he wanted to see his sister's (Candice) college game. I think his sister is one of the best WNBA prospects in the NCAA...
I totally forgot about Arenas. He better be in it.Pick up ball....swish....'HIBACHI'...Pick up ball....swish....'HIBACHI'.....
I would like to see MoPete in in. He's been lighting it up from down town this season and helped out the Raptors big with it. It would be nice to see Arenas as well. He's had many big 3's. But I would like to see Ray Allen again hopefully he can turn it around after having 2 awful chances in the contest.

He might take a couple 3's a game, because he's so versatile he can get open on the perimeter. He's not that good of a 3 point shooter, he's improved but he's definitely not among the best..
