Ray Allen was in it the past 2 years and he was disappointing in them. Kapono might have a chance. He's been getting all his points out in the 3 point line, but that of course is that his legs are already set and he's ready to shoot when he gets the pass. But I would still like to see him make a name for himself in the NBA.

 

I made a topic about the 3-point contest a few hours ago with the participants posted, but I didn't realize that there was already a topic about it. I just merged them and edited the opening post with the participants.

 

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Jason Terry. He's been training hard for this lol, actually setting up the time limit on the shotclock and putting up the racks at practices. That effort has to result into something. I'm saying it's a win at this year's 3 point contest.

Itll be Mike Miller and Gilbert Arenas probably in the Finals, they both have easily been the best 3 point shooters this season, and both are so talented from behind that arc. Yall arent even mentioning Mike Miller....hes has probably 10 games with 5+ 3's in a game....a few I know for sure with 7 or more.

Naw, itll be Mike Miller and Dork Nowintzki in the Finals.Both are probably some of the more talented shooters in the contest, and both are able to shoot just as good without jumping, unlike Damon Jones or Jason Terry. Very much like Larry Bird, Mike Miller and Dirk will have alotve energy late on the contest. I got my dough on Mighty Mike.

 

Ha, the way Damon Jones is shooting, he might be lucky enough to get a few 3's to drop.
