I think what mostly burnt us was Durant, couldn't handle him. So I thought, Aminu should have been on Durant but assuming they play with Draymond Green And a Center... We guarded Kley well because we played bigger without Dame, lesson learned, we need to guard him with a bigger player. But assuming we put a swingman on Kley and Aminu on Durant. And they play big with Draymond and a Center, who guards Draymond? The answer is simple, Dame
Another 40 point quarter. Not being mentally ready for the end of the half. 12 turnovers in the second half, after only 5 in the first.(CJ looked like a walking turnover in the second half) Has nothing to do with the Warriors. Portland has been this way all season against even bad teams.
This is what I do on 2K: Dame/Curry CJ/Thompson Harkless/Green Aminu/Durant Plums/Zsa Zsa Then I make THEM play D. We run, run, run, and I make curry and Klay run off screens all game. I ATTACK Durant with Mo all game. They can't guard us. On D we double Curry on pick & rolls, then when the ball is out of Currys hands I have Dame faceguard and Deny him. I want someone else to be the playmaker. On off ball screens my bigs communicate with the guards and open up so they don't die on those picks. We play straight up D. And we win. On Superstar difficulty. I know it's just a simulation but it's the closest simulation we have that's not actual basketball. Lol.
WAY more defensive effort and a better scheme than anything the Blazers or Stotts are currently employing.
We're one of the youngest teams in the league Eric.....running out of gas shouldn't be an issue for this roster...for Joe Johnson, it's an issue
