its pathetic. ive been walking on it for three weeks too. its so god damn depressing. everything I worked for in high school, to play college tennis, is pretty much out the window now. fucks up my senior year, as ill be in a huge brace with crutches for a long time. so depressing, especially since how hard I worked. I never really played competitively till 9th grade, so I had a late start, so I had to work harder than everyone else there, AND I used to be a fatty (225 when I started, 195 now), so I had to work even harder there. F*ck this sucks.

Hmm... Did this injury come in any way by you scoring 50 points a night for the Celtics?
yeah whatd you do? playing basketball I would guess. thats gotta suck though, I cant imagine being on crutches for any period of time
I originally hurt it playing basketball. Didn't fully recover and tried to play tennis and POP, dont for a year.
Haha walk it off. I did. After I did it, I was on the ground for about 5 minutes, then walked away. Tried to go back in and play but my coach wouldnt let me. Now im done for a year. F*ck that. Feb 27 = surgery date.
What year are you in high school? You seem like you are a junior....but that is just a total guess. I wouldnt completley say that things are over for you. As long as you have a safe recovery, and you are allowed to come back when expected, you could be ok. My uncle tore his ACl falling down a staircase, and he is older and out of shape. If you can just go to the gym after surgery and work out your knee and what not, you could be ok for some of your senior year. Dont totally give up....
Nah I'm a senior. Since I'm an athlete and sh*t I can't just go and rehab it, because it'll still buckle with forceful lateral movement and tear even more. So I have to get the surgery soon, so hopefully I can try to walk on in the spring of my freshman year, rather than the fall of my freshman year. It's going to suck major balls being on crutches for a lot of the rest of my senior year, and its really going to piss me off, but whatever, I guess I'll deal.
Playing for my school's basketball team causes me to fear an ACL injury. I'm afraid of any type of injury, which is mostly the reason why I hardly seem to play my hardest.
Hey, sorry to hear about that. Hope you have a speedy recovery. And look on the bright side. Hopefully it'll heal faster then you think. But good luck. Too bad you can't accomplish what you do right now, but I hope you do it in the future.
