https://www.yahoo.com/news/ap-sourc...s-needed-border-wall-085348532--election.html Trump now says that the United States will pay for the Mexican/US border wall, and that Mexico will pay us back. BULLSHIT! Mexico ain't paying nothing. So he made a promise, and now it's gonna to be on the taxpayers of the United States. Fuck that!
Personally I have no problem with it being paid for by Real Americans, it's a great investment for the security and economy of our nation. All estimates, even the ridiculously overblown ones, are far cheaper than a few more years of Obamacare and it's completion will lift a massive drain from our social services safety net so Real Americans in dire need will no longer be pushed to the end of the line. This single step Trumps anything Obama did in 8 years "for" Real Americans.
It's all a big scam. No one wants to solve the problem. US banks will loan illegals money at high interest rates. It's great for the banks, you can screw them over and they are too afraid to take you to court. Businesses can hire illegals with no fear of penalty. Just claim that they're sub-contractors. Illegals can wire money to Mexico and not show any ID what so ever.
I don't know what's more entertaining to me. Real Americans believing smoking cigarettes weren't bad for your health. or Real Americans believe a wall will keep people from crossing the US/Mexican border illegally.
If the wall did actually stop undocumenteds coming across, it would (a) upset an awful lot of Trump-voting farmers, and (b) make the cost of our fruits and veggies spike. But of course, nobody SERIOUSLY believes it'll do anything.
Don't and never did care who paid for it. I never thought it was going to be a physical wall in the first place. I always expected it to be a metaphor increased border security, illegal immigration reform, and kicking illegals out. In the end If there is a physical wall, then good. Leave it up to the liberal snowflakes to make a big deal about it LOL
Yes, because fruits in Canada or any other countries that don't have illegals are so much more expensive than the US.
Make it a felony to do business with illegals and the illegal problem is going to be greatly reduced. Don't loan to, rent to, or employ them.
So at no time when Trump referred to the "big beautiful wall" that he was going to "build" you never thought he meant it literally? Really?
I always figured he would tax the money being sent back to Mexico. That and perhaps, a Tariff on imports from Mexico. Either way, Mexico pays.
Don't employ them
Naw, this one alone will do the trick.
It was very difficult to find a roofing company in Portland that would put in writing that they don't employ illegals. As a consumer you have to take some personal responsibility for the illegal problem in this country. Real Americans don't wait for the government to solve all their problems.
I'm a realist. So what he said, and what is going to get done when talking about a 2000 mile border wall are two different things. So yes, I never thought it. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he does do it though.
