Probably not but the Bucks don't have a guard like CJ (well, they have Terry but he is done). They don't really have an ISO guard. Add CJ to the Bucks and I think they rival the Cavs imho.

Yes the Blazers would be better balanced this year, but the key thing that you said was you like CJ more. That should be the bottom line, because NBA rosters can quickly change and what happens when we get a SF who is as good as Jabari? Then we wish we had CJ again. The only way I make a trade mid season to balance out a roster, is if we are legitimate contenders that particular year. Otherwise I say we keep the better player and worry about balance later.

Also is rumor Wesley Matthews available and Arnowitz says GMs tell him Dwight Howard's trade value is a low 2nd rounder.

Maybe they're looking at Boston? Reunite Millsap and Horford?

Not that interested now I know he's high-usage. Wouldn't fit with Stotts. He had great defensive numbers last year, but that might've been a fluke.

GOOD! Makes perfect sense. Although I think of him as a shotblocker and he just isn't any more (0.4 bpg this season).

Tired of not having draft picks. Nets should know that whatever the picks, they'll fuck them up. Also: I like Lopez but he averages fewer than 6rpg. If we were otherwise a good rebounding team we could handle that, but we very much are not.

I'd take Chandler if the asking price was small (basically no picks). He is a good shot alterer.

Chandler has two more years at 13m and he is already 34. I don't think this move would be any help. It's not that if we sign him we become a contender anyway. We need someone younger and more athletic.

    http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=judqr3h

    POR: Jabari Parker, John Henson

MIL: CJ McCollum, POR 2017 1st round pick (Top 8 protected), CLE 2017 1st round pick

    CLE: Al-Farouq Aminu

BRK: Festus Ezeli, rights to Dani Diez, MIA 2021 2nd round pick (POR owned)

Would you do this? Potential lineup would look pretty balanced.

    Lillard / Napier
    Crabbe / Turner
    Harkless / Layman
    Parker / Davis / Vonleh
    Henson / Plumlee / Leonard

From a heat blogger, who knows how reliable, who cares, it's fun to talk about it either way

Btw Lowe did mention that the heat are sellers and that literally everyone is available, including Whiteside. They're probably about to tank.

Now that one I would go all in on the chase!

    Both our picks/ Ezeli/Plums/Davis?

Then trade CJ to Phi for the pick that will get us Josh Jackson?

Miami would probably not be interested in big contracts (Crabbe) but I could see something like an unprotected first, clevelands first, a 2018 protected first, Ezeli, Davis, and Vonleh for Whiteside.

See, this is the sort of deal where you trade draft picks.
Draft picks for Millsap = DUMB
Draft picks for Whiteside = smart

Yeah you definitely give up draft picks + for Whiteside since he is locked up for several years. He is worth the risk.
