We could see almost 1.5" of ice by Sunday... That's not fun. https://fox12weather.wordpress.com/2017/01/06/930pm-looking-wetter-more-damaging/ weird, I thought I had included the link.
As somebody who travels everywhere for work, just sit back and relax and enjoy that you live in one of the most beautiful cities in the country . Who cares if you know how to handle snow, it's gone before really becomes an issue. I doubt you'd want to live in the Midwest where they totally can handle the snow, but you might as will be living in a trailer park.
I have to drive down a pretty steep mountain to work the next two nights...I can drive it without a hitch but the idiots that are coming down the hill behind me are the problem
I wonder if this will effect the game tomorrow? I wouldn't be surprised to see a mostly empty stadium, for those that just don't wanna risk it. Getting out of the Rose Quarter is hard enough after a game; never mind 2 inches of snow and ice. I've got my recliner ready. I ain't going nowhere. My cat will be my warmth. I hope we get more snow than ice. I really like snow.
Good call there. Ticketmaster has a CRAPLOAD of resale tickets available. Awesome seats for cheap. (well, cheaper than normal....)
I don't think they are as worried about the little bit of snow. It is the freezing rain. My work was cancelled tonight, which sucks because I could use the money. And all I have to do to get to work is walk up the hill about 20 blocks up Belmont. I almost asked if I could just run the show all by myself.
Snow used to be cool when I had no responsibilities. I don't mind this weekend snow stuff. I'm hankered in, drinking and watching tons of sports.
It reallty is getting old having the borderline shut down days. Just fucking dump if your gonna dump and shut the city down for a week, so we can all just enjoy it for a few days.
OT: @SlyPokerDog, Who do you want the Cowboys to face next week? The only team who has beaten us twice already or the team who would have won 7 in a row if they win tomorrow? I want to play the team that has won 7 in a row because their running game is weak. By the way, The Patriots will get to play the hapless Texans next week, while we have to play the winner between these two teams. WTF?
I think we can beat the Giants. Regular season doesn't mean much. I would rather avoid Green Bay, playing with a lot of confidence and their defense is going to be rough on Dak.
The Giants defense is just as good, if not better and they have Beckem, Cruz and Shepard while Green Bay only has Nelson and Rodgers and virtually no run game as I said. Dak and Zeke had their worst games against the Giants too. I pick Green Bay, though neither choice is better than the other. Gives me another reason to hate the Patriots.
