http://wcbstv.com/topstories/local_story_037234835.html This is ridiculous, just more crap the police have to deal with that isn't worth their f*cking time. (Would cops even enforce this garbage?) This senator and the people that support this bill should be kicked out of government...
thats why im glad I have black headphones but yo, people with them ipods need to tone it done a bit or any music device. I see them almost get hit too. They look like zombies some time into their music. It is a stupid law though cause someone might not have it on and there is no way the cops can even prove it. They will Pullover a person with a hearing aid by mistake. Without some audio technology they better not pull me over or get me a ticket without any proof it was on.
I hate laws inacted to protect stupid people. 99.9999999999% of people can walk while listening to their IPOD, this law will only protect that 0.0000000001% who are stupid and can't walk and listen to their IPOD.
Some major league bullsh** up in here. If I get a fine for listening to my iPod I'm going to go ripshit.EDIT: Its only Albany, but still, if I were to, I would get so mad.
I support this bill. In fact, I think we should take it one step further, and make sure that anyone with an iPod is shot on sight.
Yo u dont know the NYPD. They love giving people tickets. People got tickets for having their bag on the seat next to them. walking through the train doors, and some other stupid stuff. Some couple got a ticket 4 kissing in public here. They will do it just to be a dick. Thats A WHOLE LOT OF MONEY going to the city if strictly enforced. NYC got so many people with headphones crossing the streets lol. NYC will be rich and cops will probably get raises.
"That's not a distraction," said one woman, iPod securely implanted in her ears. "You have your iPod in your ears and you're crossing the street, you are looking with your eyes. You don't have to hear anything, really ... I guess."^ , She had me until the you don't have to hear anything part. The last part seems like she's second guessing herself forgetting that there is an importance with hearing when walking near a street/road. I don't really see the big deal in this law. It seems like it has a parameter with walking across streets. It's not like they are prohibited from being worn outside. Now say this was about a law that states we cannot moonwalk across streets. I would be in a uproar.
I read those rules. I've slept in my boots for 20 years. And I just realized it was illegal in Oklahomajk
