...Bama is a 6.5 point favorite tonight.

... I say take Clemson and the points, and I think they have a shot to win the game outright.

would love to see Saban and Bama take home his 3rd in a row, and 5 in the last 8 yrs.

It should be every bit as exciting a game as last yr's bout b/t both.

Clemson has not beat Bama since 1905, but that means nothing.

Perhaps, Saban's firing of Kiffen (Kiffen's a natural born asshole, who burns bridges everywhere he's been)...will cost him the game. Steve Sarkisian

without their Offensive Coordinator of the last 3 Championship caliber teams, and not having an offense that is 81st passing offense, tho' passing is Saban's 2nd style of offense, it's as critical to this game, as his #1 Defense of all time. I pray Bama's incredible defense, that looks lackadaisical at times, then gets a few INT's, fumble recoveries, and wins the game for them, as they have all year, more or less....

    http://www.si.com/college-football/...steve-sarkisian-alabama-offensive-coordinator

I always take Bama, or Saban in any match up, can usually beat the odds all year riding a Saban team.... But- my money is on Dabo Swinney, and Clemson, the Sr. QB- DeShaun Watson vs the Freshman QB- Jalen Hurts.... should still be as exciting as last years Title Gm; I hope....

Tho' the press swears Kiffen was fired, both Kiff and Saban have stated: "It's a mutual decision. I guess the press didn't see Saban embarassed Kiffen in front of the Camera's on the sidelines during the Washington game. Kiffen has never done well when not on top, or when having his ass torn apart on Natl. Tv. Imo, from following every Bama game, since Saban arrived, (same with LSU, not the Dolphins, when Nick was Head Coach)....I'd put my money on Kiffen having a melt down, in the Locker room, after the WU game.... that is Kiffen's style, often reminding me of a troubled, temper tantrum throwing (behind the scenes) kid, boy.....

Go Crimson Tide, and if ya' beat 'em you deserve it, ....
as for Steve Sarkisian- he's replaced Kiffen in 3 different jobs, but is he enough, or a bit too late, imo yep... he is.. and imo, this one probably goes to Clemson, and that is where my bet lies, not my loyalty, or should I always go with my loyalty, and screw the rest....? Hell, I'm not sure myself.... tho' I'd love to see a Freshman QB win a Natl. Title. Without looking, or googling, I'd guess no Freshman has ever won a FB Natl. Title......??? but I'd love to see it.....(chuckling)....

    http://www.sbnation.com/college-foo...lane-kiffin-alabama-usc-national-championship

Roll Tide Roll......(I tell ya', I'm a real flip flop on this game). So that being said, good thing I haven't paid the bookie,.... I'm gonna' take Bama, and my crying tissues, and pray these guys take #3 Consecutive NCAA Titles; and no one has done that since the Fighting Irish of the latter 40's, and Minnesota's Gopher's in the 30's............

perhaps Saban can do a magic hat trick....and pull this one out...!

He was funny though Rob, I love when he used to rile Ron up. I will be shocked if Alabama lost this Game. So my pick is Alabama and won't be surprised if it is a blow out.

Amen 59, the very same reason I do also. Not myself of course, but often your one liner's, as Tote's too, are enough to make me fall out of my chair in hysterical laughter, wonder I've not had a hernia yet from laughing...classic, can't get this kind of entertainment anywhere else... Ntm- numerous convo's b/t you and old man rick, or friendly exchanges b/t you and Tom, often do as much.... :smiley-boxing::rotfl::tsktsk::smiley-violence::smiley-sprovod:
thanks always for the laughs; everything else too.

If, and since: "The greatest one can give is a portion of thyself"; like our hero Emerson said, then you've done a great job of it...kudos, thanks, and hats off to ya'...always..! :tiphat:

Ps, there was a time, I thought you, rick; and tote had a main Headliner at the Dune's in Vegas, or now: NY-NY...! :roflmao::biglaugh::rockon:

like the "Rat Pack", less Davis Jr. without Rick's horrid screeching singing....besides, Rick spent too much time in the crowd, trying to sale his 50 lb boxes of homeade CD's or his tunes, never sold a ONE....! (he-hehaha)

Dangerfield, Murray, Chase had nothin' on ya' 3...

man I can't believe this Bama luck o' the irish. Rookie QB Hurts, 2nd play clock ran out before snap. A possible later game time out used, could be a crucial time out. Sarkisian on the sideline dialing up, a deep 40 yarder to Howard wide open blown defensive assignment.

Keep this up, and Howard will burn Clemson like last yr. OJ-Howard, last years MVP...

I'm kind of stunned Clemson can't seem to get a thing going for long. Watson's being hit hard. He's done one back flip, and another 840 degree lateral horizontal flip, bam to the ground, stars yet.....?

Team's behind by a 0-7 lead by half against Saban teams, are 2-64.... but there's a helluva lot of football to play by two quick strike offense's and one quick strike defense, tho' both are capable....

    2 turnover's, one for field goal, ....

still waiting for a Bama Defensive TD... an INT, or Fmbl, returned for a TD.. all the way...! That's been the name of the Bama games this yr, and we're still to see such.....

ROLL TIDE ROLL, THE BOOKIE'S GOT HIS $$$$

Mike Williams, one helluva career receiver, get his TD.... of course looked like the CB fell down prior to the catch, tho' Williams probably would of had it regardless,, kind'a surprised Watson didn't throw a jump ball to the taller Williams, always the benefactor of a jump ball.....

We got a Game, much like last years, can't ever count out Clemson, a true Tiger, always got stamina beyond the norm. Trying to wear out the Tide's defense, without the bench depth of years past, yet very talented....deep enough....???

I really expected a goal line stand, 3 point kick, which would of told me, us, the game is in Bama's court to win or lose, not with this TD, we've got a game, and this will come down to the last play of the game.......??? if not it should...!

Yeah Rob I am surprised this Game is so close. If Alabama loses, I can't imagine what Nick Saban's Press Conference will be like!!!

Bama's had considerably less offensive overall yards, (until Howard's TD pass); and Clemson's had plenty of offensive power, to continue to keep this one close. Clemson could explode at any minute, so I thought when the Bama D- put Watson on his ass for a loss.....

Yet, Bama's D, has still got to kick it up a notch, get that D-TD, yet...

and Bama's offense has got to score.....

as for Clemson, they're not even close to over, both teams play 100 minutes, in a 60 min contest....

actually Saban is a big Teddy Bear, a softy...

If this were a Paul Bear Bryant team, and they lost, then players would be hanging upside down from the rafters of the Press Room, during the post-game conference....!

Great Epic game for the ages, these two teams, no doubt the best two in the nation....

Great last two drives by Clemson...

Congrats Dabo Swinney and the entire Clemson Tiger's Team, -

Congrats to every soul in Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina !!!
Pickens County also. Clemson got the monkey (much like the Cubs) beat Bama after a 112 year drought. Great Game....!!!
