F the Seahawks. They're lucky they get the Falcons next week. If they had to play GB and Dallas two weeks running, they'd be certain to lose. Hopefully, the Falcons step up their game, but if not, I expect them to lose to GB the following week.
Sound a bit butthurt? Id rather face Dallas. I think Seattle can play Dallas better than GB. Plus Seattle plays better in warmer weather. GB could be an ice storm and that would kill Seattle. I think Seattle's D can handle Dallas offense, but I don't think Dallas D can handle Seattle's offense, IF Seattle plays to their game(unlike some weeks of past). But I am not thinking ahead because Seattle is not the best on the road either. Take away their NE win and they are sad this year. The best road to the Superbowl is through Dallas. Once at that point Dallas is young and will feel the pressure of Sherman's week long taunting.
Not butt hurt at all. I'm not a huge NFL fan, but I hate the Seahawks. I don't lose any sleep over any success they might have, but I do gain pleasure from their losses (like the choke job in the Super Bowl a couple years back).
It's not gonna happen since Dallas will win next week but in an alternate universe if Green Bay did win and Seattle won then the game would be in Seattle since they are the 3 seed. No ice storm to worry about.
Ok, so the roads may be fine, but the sidewalks, for those of us who walk around town, are fucked. This was my walk tonight. I didn't film the time I fell on my ass.
More snow coming tonight. This time, it actually looks like more than the mouse fart we've gotten here in East Vancouver. If you want to get your shopping done, today would be a good time. 1 to 4 inches expected, depending on where you live. We're predicted to get 2.3" here.
I cringe at the thought of public transportation in Portland. But could you take the bus? Or perhaps call Uber?
Ha. I wish. You know the region? i'm out past Mall 205. I work in deep Tualtin. Halfway to Sherwood. I would get there sometime in the afternoon i'm thinking. Plus, being sick, I'm not hanging out in the cold.
I haven't been out that far in years. But, if I remember correctly, it's kind of spread out, isn't it? Not many normal city blocks. Might I suggest bringing a sleeping bag and just camping there overnight in an abandoned room? Not sure what kind of job or environment you work in though.
Yeah, I just heard about your illness in the other thread. Nasty stuff! I had one a few months back that turned out to be hand-foot-mouth disease. Goddamn, that was miserable. Gave me a nasty cough, and burned my throat something fierce. Hope you feel better.
I live in Parkrose and work in Tigard. I leave the house at 5:30 and it takes less than a half hour When it snows, it's even easier because most everyone stays home.
