...the supposed "stress fracture" happened 5 months ago so I would tend to think that it would have easy healed in 5 freaking months... he also said he was "pain free" for the rest of the season...if he was pain free and pitched well for the rest of the season so it couldn't have been much of a fracture.
...plus, he and the Nationals say he won't be ready for the WBC but he somehow "will be ready before ST"...huh?...what's the difference?... ST begins in February, well before the WBC which is in March.

...I'm not a fan of the WBC but this whole story sounds and smells like BS to me.

...yup, if he no longer wanted to play in the WBC or if the Nats didn't want him to play, fine...just be honest about it. But this trumped up excuse is just lame.

exactly a bs answer. I agree Max and the Nat's should flat out come out and say fk u WBC....be honest Max.

Like 59 pointed out: stress fractures, can be painful for a short time; yet look at his record of wins during the supposed time frame. Shit I doubt he even had a stress fracture.

I've stress fractured T-12, three times since 4-2013, T-11 twice. A couple of mos; and pain free......bs-max.
