Pat Burke is officially my new favorite player.

I saw those already. He's a pretty funny guy. He doesn't sound Irish at all either.I love his role with the Suns though. He comes in on blowouts, and jacks 3's. I was watching a game where he had almost double figures just be shooting threes and long two's in the closing minutes of a game.

Yes, Burke is a guy that embraces his role on the team no matter how small it is. I'd say this is the 2nd best role on the team(1st being the star player), the guy who sits at the end of the bench and learns from the coaches, plays in blowouts, and gets to watch some of the best basketball. Dont you wish the league was filled with players like this rather than assholes like Tyrus Thomas? I sure as hell do. On a side note, CB4, dont you remember in the offseason I was one(if not the only) non-Raptor fan saying that the Raptors had a great chance at making the playoffs? Means your sig is a little wrong. :winkglasses: :happy0144:

Me and CB4 were both wrong about the Raptors. I knew they'd improve, but they are currently playing at a level unseen in Toronto for quite some time. They're a few pieces away, but that young core looks great.

I guess the Raps have been doing a little better than I expected. Anyway, back on topic.

He actually had a good game last night. I like him too, but I wouldn't cry if he was dropped.

I don't think the Raptors are that much better, I just think the rest of the teams in the East are doing so much worse than expected (Cleveland, Miami, Boston, New Jersey, Chicago) that teams like the Raptors and Wizards are floating up a bit more.

They have gotten Anthony Parker, Garbajosa, Fred Jones, TJ Ford, Andrea Bargnani, Rasho Nesterovic, and guys like Bosh and Jose Calderon have really stepped up their games. I personally think that they have improved by a great amount, and they are definitely exceeding my expectations. I expected them to be better, but I definitely didnt think they would have a winning record at this point.

They still have a ways to go although they have added a couple nice rotation players.
