I'm not that sick. I would never get that sick. That is Barfo level of sick.

Seriously, Dog, I think you should see a doctor. They can't do anything for cold, but if you are this sick for this long you may have a secondary infection. Even if you just have the worst cold in the universe, at least you'll know for sure you just have to wait it out.

Meanwhile, chicken soup. Know any Jewish grandmothers?

Jon, I second this. Seriously. I am feeling so much better already after just two doses of the prescribed antibiotics. The doctor told me that it was turning into a bacterial infection and it was damn good I came in when I did. Its the firs time ive ever gone to the doctor for just being sick and the first time ive had antibiotics.
For that matter if the weather wasn't so shitty to go out in, I would just say you could have some of mine.

You don't want to do that. Even if you get feeling better, make sure to take the complete prescription. Make sure it's killed off, and not just weakened.

I do feel a little better today. No way to see a doctor today, too much snow. I was actually sick enough yesterday I felt the need to update my will. No joke. I've had 3 cans of Progresso Chick Noodle Soup in the last 3 days. Sick of chicken noodle. Had a soft boiled egg on toast last night. Chocolate Pop Tart for breakfast today, lol.

Canned soup? Oi vey, no wonder you're still sick.

3 lb chicken backs and necks
1 lb feet, if available, if not, add another lb backs
    1 lg carrot, chop
    1 lg celery, chop
    1 lg onion, chop
    1 parsnip, peel and chop
    1 bunch Italian parsley
    3-4 sprigs thyme
    2 bay leaves
    3 peppercorns
    3 whole cloves
    16 cups water

Mix chicken and vegetables, roast 450 1 hr. Dump in stock pot (don't worry about fat, it comes off later) and add about 12 cups water. Put 1 or 2 cups water in roasting pan and stir over high heat to dislodge browning at bottom of pan, add to stock pot. Add rest of water. Bring to good simmer, not full boil, simmer 15 minutes, skim foam. Add herbs, partially cover, simmer 3 hours. Strain first through colander to get out large pieces, then strainer for smaller bits. Cool a little, pour into container, cover and chill. Lift off fat (can use for Jewish recipes). Stock can be frozen.

Now, add boned dark meat chicken, cut up, and simmer until done. Add chopped vegetables as desired and cook until done. Season (stock has no salt so you'll need to season soup). Cook rice or noodles if you like and add.

Not strictly necessary to roast, you can put right into stock pot, but tastes much better.

Also, save inedible mushroom stems, like from shiitake, in freezer and throw into pot.

Actually, it's probably more an effect of Global Laming; as brought on by elitists and Liberals.

In his condition he would have probably perished from just looking at 3lbs of chicken backs and necks.

There are appropriate tools for every situation - and I am not sure a person that needs to update his will should be exposed to these sights.

Now, if he was a Karate master - all the chopping would probably have been good for him, but he is a dog. A sick sick dog. Soup from a can was probably a good idea.
