...and oh, though I'm not crazy about some of the stuff he does, OBJ's poor game was not the reason the Giants lost yesterday...but it seems that's the media's focus. ...the Giants gave up 38 freekin points yesterday but the media only wants to talk about what they deem as "drops" by Odell, even though 2 or 3 of them would have been great catches if he had made them. ...you win as a team and you lose as a team...the talking heads need to get off Beckham's nutts.
these talking heads are trying to create a story, even when there isn't one. With Beckham, and the sensationalized media of today's fkd up infoless wars, journalism is more aligned with Natl. Enquirer style of lacking details, specifics, then makes whatever they can up, often creating several possible scenarios.... Sal Palontonio, sounded like Odell had a direct indirect beef with him personally, although truth be told, sounds like Sal was simply passing thru, observing, and tried to make the story about himself, since his eyes saw Odell ranting, pounding his head, or was it his fist, or foot, or shit, helmet....? fkn media has stooped to an all time illiterate low...!
^^^ exactly. Geez, I'd hate to be in his shoes, wouldn't be worth the $$$$.... bet they follow him like the bimbo bowling ball buttz kardashian sluts.... I can hear/see it now: Paparazzi on the prowl: "hey' OD's going into Papa John's". Paparazzi pulls over parks, and runs into Papa John's, as a pack of them assembles like rats waiting for the lunch whistle to blow in a peanut butter factory; coming out of woodwork, walls, shadows unseen prior, Tweets hit the air, Instagram real life in real time, OD is the only customer, but it's standing room only in PJ's; the Mgr ask politely for them to leave, and all ignore his requests, and pleas, as cattle herds shove OD pinned to the counter. OD pushes several guys off of him, as he's being squeezed, as fast he's being filmed, and one can hear: "did you see Odell hit him in the face", "geezus, he had brass knuckles on", "damn, he had a knife in the other hand, and a gun under his coat where no one could see it". "Say WTF, if its under the coat where it can't be seen, then how did you see it??" "Tell me have you ever heard of an 'unfamiliar' or 'unknown' exposure of film", "Yeah, sure dude, I know what you mean bro, I see 'em all the time", "How the fk could you know what an 'unfamiliar' 'unknown' exposure' is; when its just that, unknown, unfamiliar, like the guy you voted for, you know everything, and are the best at everything too, only you know everything but anything or nothing, not even much of something.... OD is waiting for his pizza, and asks if he can use the employee shitter, cuz there isn't a public shit trough..... constant flash of cameras, sound of shutters like machine guns
next morning headlines Odell threatens to shit on floor in Papa Johns unless Mgr gives him pizzas for free, and insists on his own toilet, since employees have their own.... Odell seen with gun hidden in coat, brass knuckles, sawed off shotgun, and a .44 mag.
...^^^ Matts, I swear sometimes it seems like you're really Stephen King in disguise...you have a very vivid imagination...lol.
Yipes! ESPN media people cannot differentiate between what is true and what they want to be true. Not one of these hype-individuals is interested in facts..........it is always about them and the story. Fabrication permeates all of sports......and espn has mastered the hype and lies. Their reporting is worse than all the trash talk that occurs in games. Shame!
Hey Ron, just didn't understand why you two were carrying on about OBJ. I chalk it up to just being immature. I had no problem with what he did. You can't even compare him to Terrell Owens, he was just a complete Asshat.
...yeah, I just thought the media went over the top because Beckham was far from the only reason the Giants lost.
I agree Ron, you can't keep getting picked off when you are in scoring range. I blame Eli and the Defense more then OBJ.
Sports media have such a distorted, biased view on the actual moving points on the game's outcome. Is there a sports' columnist today or recently on a par with the great Red Smith? The bar today is so low when it comes to writing sports. That's how I see it.
