Care to expand a bit on why? That'd make no sense for us. Gordon is nothing more than a scoring role player. Pierce is a star player, a franchise player, and he does it all. Simple as that. Don't really need to go much more in depth.
That's a bad trade. And Chicago won't take that trade anyways if it was offered. Ben Gordon is just a scorer and can't really do anything else except, he's much younger. Pierce is the star player of the Celtics and he can score rebound and etc. Just because he's having an off season due to injury and probably won't be back till near the end of the season, doesn't mean its time to trade him right now for Gordon. If Pierce to be dealt. At least get something that can help the team.
lol everyone(stupid people) seems to call BG 6man of the year(be advised again, that those that say this ARE indeed, stupid), and you just say 'role player'.I say if you trade with Chi town, it'd be likePP34forTyrus ThomasBG7The first that Chicago can switch with NYPJ Brown(to fill the gap in salaries, plus he's expiring)That'd be a much more fair trade

His role is to come off the bench and score points. He's not expected to be a giant defensive force, he's not expected to make plays for his teammates, he's not expected to rebound, he's not expected to be a real leader. He's expected to come off the bench and score points for this team. He is a role player. If we did that trade with Chicago, which I don't really want to do, I wouldn't really want Tyrus Thomas. I'd rather have Luol Deng than Ben Gordon as well. But, the only way we trade Paul Pierce is if he asks for one. We'll see what the future beholds, he won't want to be here for much longer if this keeps up. Danny needs to grow some balls and choose a direction.

This trade would just make you younger which is pretty much unnessisary....so if this trade were to go down how are you gonna develop all your youth? You would have two top 5 picks in this years draft, Tyrus Thomas, Big Al, Perks, Rondo, Telfair, Green, Gomes, Ray, West, ......and the list goes on! That would make Scal your leader!!!!!!!
