Coming into this game I had a lot of doubt if the Spurs were going to be able to pull this off against a good team coming from the East but they were w/o Jamison which made me feel a little better. But we came out with a lot of intensity and completely manhandled the Wizards throughout the game. In the first quarter Tony Parker exploded for 14 points on 7-8 shooting and it was 33-14 after one I think. In the second Manu and Tim started to turn it on and we increased our lead and were up by 22 at half. The Spurs have tended to blow big leads this year and they gave me quite a scare in the third. They got up by 24 but the Wizards got on a hot streak and cut the lead down to 11 as Gilbert and Caron were accounting for most of their scoring. In the fourth quarter though Manu came out and hit 3 3's and a layup right out of the gate to put the game away for good. Parker and Duncan led the team in scoring with 20 a piece and for the Wizards Gilbert had 29 but none in the fourth and Caron had a decent game but not his best shooting wise. The Spurs needed this win after losing two in a row to boost their confidence for the rest of the annual Rodeo Road Trip, they have never lose more than 2 games since they started this annual road trip. Hopefully the Spurs will be able to get on a roll as they still have to play the Magic, Pistons, and Nets.

I wasn't to impressed, it's the wizards, no matter what they are in the east and ain't legit contenders for nothingI don't like what we are doing in the third quarters, if this team was worth a damn we could've lost the game
