He'll be a good replacement for when we trade Lillard.

Love him from his ISU days (my alma mater). Was good but never thought he would get drafted, but he did and he was really good in summer league and now scoring tons in D league. He has a good NBA frame, must be finally clicking on all areas now. He had promise in college just never stuck out like you would imagine a pro player would.

Also, pretty sure Nader has a contract with the Celtics. I think he did them a favor by signing and willing to play in the D league instead of bolting for more money overseas. Can't remember exactly.

What the bloody hell, no game thread!?!?!?

@jlprk asleep on the job. Looks like we're going to have to call in a pro like @HCP to start running the D League game threads!

Here's a link to re-watch the game, but the video starts near the beginning of the 2nd quarter.

Brutal shooting from Allan Quartermain. I remember him being a better shot than that in 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen."

See my posts from post #83 to post #95, 3 days before the game of this thread. I start by posting happy that I'll be doing D-League game threads, then discover that I need a Facebook account to watch them live this season. I don't intend to register.

I'm glad Darkwebs found a link to watch it after it's over. Maybe I should post a retrospective play-by-play for those without the time to watch.

If not a full play-by-play, maybe a breakdown of Quarterman's play and a heads up on any other promising young talent on display.

Yeah, I have a REAL problem with the whole Facebook Live thing.

Shit like that is the problem with these programmer types that never see the light of day. They sit around dreaming up ideas without considering the consequences of their actions. Next thing you know, their ill-thought out idea is a "feature". Did it not occur to them the people most likely to use the Facebook Live feature are the EXACT same people no one else wants to see live.

I mean really? I do not ever need to see a live video feed of a 300 pound former classmate and her 350 pound husband in a hot tub. Now, I'm scarred for life. You just can't unsee that shit.

I stopped watching the d-league games when they went over to Facebook... it's the worst fucking thing i've seen - constantly buffering, constantly not having entire games.

Youtube was PERFECT - they only did it because they have more people who "liked" them on facebook... but the thing fucking sucks.

    (has all 3 games)
    http://www.basketball-reference.com/dleague/players/q/quartti01d.html
(has only 1 game as of this moment)

In his 3 games, he shot 1-12 from the 3 for 8%. For 2-point shots, he shot 16-40 for 40%. He needs to stop shooting 3s, so he isn't a Stotts system player.

As a 6 foot 6 PG, he gets a good number of assists and rebounds per minute, so he may last a few years somewhere in the NBA. Or maybe he'll be here next season and Stotts will be gone.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Quarterman wasn't playing sufficiently good defense for the Windy City Bulls, so he was sent down to the Portland Trail Blazers to work on it. His ticket back to the Bulls depends heavily on him figuring out some of his defensive shortcomings during the exhibition games that the Trail Blazers are currently playing.

He came from Lsu same team as Simmons. That one reason he didn't stand out.
