There are no teams, no owners, and anyone and everyone who makes gfx is allowed to participate. Artists will battle one another for weight class supremacy and to be the undisputed champion of their class. How to Enter:All artists that plan to participate must submit an application in the Apply For Your Fighting License Forum, where the judges will then assign you to a weight class according to your abilities and experience. Once the judges decide what class you belong in, you will be told in your thread and your name will be added to the standings of that particular weight class.Weight Classes:Heavyweight: GFX crew or crew worthy artistMiddleweight: Artists that are pretty good but are not quite crew worthyLightweight: Your average artist, not a beginner but not a vet eitherFeatherweight: Brand new to gfx, with less then 3 months experienceBattles:To set up a battle, you call out a particular artist in your weight class and you two choose the topic, type of gfx made, and deadline for your battle. (There are no open battles in the Boxing League opponents must be specified in call out) An artist may choose to decline a call out if the artist is ranked 5 spots below or above them and does not have the same record as they do. Once your graphic is completed, it will be sent to a judge to be posted for the panel of judges to decide on a winner based on a rubric. The winner of the battle would then win the losing sigs psd for just learning rights. When the battle is over, the 2 fighter's rankings will be adjusted accordingly. If the lower seed wins the fight, then their rankings will be reversed. If the higher ranked fighter wins the fight, then the lower ranked fighter will be lowered 2 spots and the higher ranked fighter will move up 1 spot in the rankings (unless he is already the champion of that weight class). Each fight will be posted for judging in your particular weight classes subforum called "Fight Night". And if you become champion of your weight class and win 5 consecutive fights by challengers you will be moved up in weight class. The ultimate goal is to become the Heavyweight Champion. If you do not fight for 3 straight weeks, your ranking will be lowered by 4 spots. And each additional week after that you don't fight you will be lowered another 2 spots. We will keep track of this by putting the date of your last fight after your name in the rankings.Rubric:The graphics are to be judge on these five categoriesBackgroundOverall FlowEffectsTextWow FactorStandings:The Standings for the league will be updated weekly according to win-loss recordRewards:The Champion of each weight class would have a belt-like sig with their name and record on itJudges:1.bo_2.nj293.ThePolishOne4.Peanut_Man5.MTC6.dig7.Deve098.Child of God9.MCM10.king.geedorahAny 3 of these judges can judge any given fight unless they are involved in that particular bout.So are you up to the challenge?
