You do realize that Brandon Knight is LEADING THE NBA IN NEGATIVE PLUS FUCKING MINUS. This is not even a comparison. Jesus Christ this board is insufferable. :biglaugh:

You do realize the post was mostly (mostly) tongue-in-cheek/green font? The only thing that was kinda serious is the part where I responded to Knight not scoring well enough (efficiency / shooting percentage).

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Look at the TS%, yo. Lillard is at .562 while Knight is at .521. Lillard shoots and hits more three-pointers and shoots and hits more free throws. In the end, Knight is a very low efficiency scorer while Lillard is a pretty efficient scorer (and those are career numbers--Lillard's efficiency is even higher this year, .584).

You can also look at the Offensive Ratings for each--Lillard is at 113 (well above average) while Knight is at 101 (solidly below average). Lillard is even higher this year, at 117.

Knight off the bench or Turner off the bench?

Uhhh, both? Neither of them should be starting.
Or are you asking in a one-or-the-other manner? You think PHX would swap Turner/Knight? I doubt POR would.

I guess I was confused by your initial question. You asked which player off the bench, which to me implied one would start. But I guess you're asking in a more either/or, hypothetical way - as in, "who would you prefer as our play-maker off the bench?".

    In that case, Turner.

If the answer is "Brandon Knight" I'm dying to know what the question is.

That was his rookie season. This year he's at 11.5/2.5 per 36. Shoots over 70%from the line as well.

    From Marc stein:

A player who is sure to move between now and the trade deadline?

    Denver's Jusuf Nurkic.

Sources say that the Nuggets, having acknowledged that Nikola Jokic and Nurkic didn't click as a pairing, are actively working to find Nurkic a new home that would give him the chance he deserves to be a front-line center.

    That was indeed a dream.

I was thinking I'd do Lillard for Ben Simmons. It might even be better for Lillard, because he'd end up on the more talented squad - Embiid is a monster. But Olshey would have to be fired and someone cold blooded like Trader Bob brought in.

Think about it @Minstrel: you want a big PG to pair with CJ and they don't come larger than Simmons...

Simmons is going to be a good player but I am not convinced that he can really play the PG position full-time. He could be the Batum distributor of course and would do that very well but actually start at PG long-term? Don't see it.
