I haven't even bothered to vote this season...any of you vote for a Blazer? First season I don't feel like voting at all...doesn't seem much buzz around it ...
I voted a couple of times. It's not worth it, a waste of time. There was no way Dame or CJ were going to get voted in. The NBA needs to change it to 34% fans, 33% players/coaches, 33% media.
Keep it 100% fans. Who cares if it's a popularity contest. It's the fans who buy the tickets and watch the games. I have no problem with them getting to pick the starters.
I guess it's probably important to the guys that get selected, but the game itself is unwatchable and I haven't cared about it in years -- not since I was a teenager.
I voted several times for Dame/CJ but I knew it was an exercise in futility. I'm usually at least curious enough to DVR the game and watch some of it, this year total apathy.
I'm expecting a 250-238 score this year with a bunch of GSW douchewads launching halfcourt shots all game long. Next.
If Lillard makes it there, he'll be launching those halfcourt threes as well. It's a "GSW douchwad" league now.
Don't remind me. And frankly I don't know if he really deserves it this year. The team's performance and his play since early December make it pretty borderline at best. He'll make it though now that Paul is out.
1. A player's agent can use whatever he wants as justification to get his player paid more. Doesn't mean the GM will agree to it. 2. All NBA Teams are also used as criteria for the worth of a player. 3. Teams sell all star merchandise featuring the name of the player on their team that made the AST, but a player shouldn't enjoy some financial benefit from it?
