I'm honestly shocked that he's averaging 10ppg - he's completely unnoticeable most of the time.

He should be boo'd every time he touches the ball at the Moda Center. Solomon Hill is the only player with a worse contract than him.

I thought it was an insane match for a bench player of his caliber at the time (and said so), but apparently Allen wasn't going to let somebody outbid him for one of his toys, so here we are.

The real issue isn't even that Crabbe is overpaid, it's that they knew Evan Turner was going to be eating into a huge chunk of whatever minutes might be available to him as our other backup shooting guard. What were Olshey and Allen expecting to get in return for the massive investment most nights?

Exactly. It was a mofoin' mind-boggling, does not compute, look at the monkey - head explodingly WTF move at the time for me.

We'll be able to send Crabbe to Brooklyn this summer.

It's almost like Olshey was TRYING to get sent out of town so he could get back to his beloved LA. It's no secret around Portland that he would prefer a bigger city. That is at least the perception by countless people I've spoken with that are around the team almost daily. He has people wound up so tight they won't say a word but when his time here is over, mark my word, the experiences local people have had with him will come out....and it won't be good.

Yep. Once he leaves, people will hear what kind of person he really is.

After what Crabbe has shown this year If I was them I would never want him back+15% raise due to his trade kicker. It would be the worst contract in the league and I don't think Kilpatrick and especially Levert are worse players than Crabbe. And even if they are they cost 16M less both of them together.

Brooklyn was likely willing to pay for Crabbe's potential. With a year of not improving, they may not be as eager to pay him $17M a year.

I'm really surprised at how mentally weak he has turned out to be.

    Really?
I see it every time he's smiling or sits on the bench with his mouth open.

I'm sure he's tired of being at a complete disadvantage to building a roster when a third of the ways to build a team is obsolete in Portland. You can build a team through the draft, free agency, and by trade. Portland can only build a team through trade and the draft.

21.5 if you add the 15% trade kicker on his average of 18.7M per year! Crazy money. Who will take him?

3 secs left in the game he passes to the 3pt line to Plumlee down a bucket...he had a shot or could've driven the lane and gotten a foul at least...it seems Crabbe doesn't want the pressure.....to cool for my taste...the dude needs someone to light a fire under his ass

He doesn't have the ability to consistently attack close-outs. He's a great spot-up shooter, but that's basically it. If he's covered or a defender is running at him, he's going to pass because shooting contested shots or driving past a defender aren't skills he really possesses (to "possess" a skill, I mean being able to do it consistently, not once per five games).

He can get fouled and make free throws..which stops the clock and gives us a shot at at least OT in the game....it was purely a brain fart....Mason can't shoot a 3 pt shot so giving him the ball out there was stupid

I'm confused, you say Crabbe makes you want to smoke crack but then you go on to complain about Crabbe.
