I'm sure we'll get another 40 twitters from Rasta on it. I also believe Trump just gave most (all?) uninsured American's a 700 dollar tax break immediately with the EO on Obamacare..... silence...
There shouldn't be quibbling over crowd size. It's trivial, but Mr. Spicer basically scolded the press in a meltdown mostly full of lies and then left without taking questions. Do you think that's normal?
He's right to scold the press. They have an agenda that isn't about accuracy or ethical journalism, or even integrity. Posted elsewhere, still spot on.
The press did not pick the fight over crowd size. Trump and Spicer picked that fight. And the press was correct on the subject; Trump & Spicer were incorrect. barfo
App reviews are now evidence. Also, you ever hear about picking your battles? Why start a war over crowd size?
When your enemies are falling on their own swords, no need to get involved. Just sit back and watch. I'm talking about the press destroying their own credibility.
You honestly can't be serious...... They said nothing about sizes yet like clockwork the press throws up a bunch of disparaging shit up on their sites; THEN the administration called foul.
Wahhh! More people went to my party then you said! Wahhhh! It was a good party too! Wahhhh! Even 3 Doors Down Played!
You think that the size of the crowd at an inauguration is not newsworthy and should not be reported? barfo
CNN tv ratings in free fall. Fox news triple CNN and MSNBC combined. http://www.politico.com/media/story...s-channels-a-year-for-the-record-books-004902 For much of the year, CNN seemed to have a fighting chance of catching Fox News in the core 25-54 demo, with the channel often topping Fox many nights during the heat of the campaign. Trump’s election, however, ended that momentum as viewership began to trail off in the days following Nov. 8. The same could not be said for Fox News. As the AP’s David Bauder wrote, Fox News ratings declined only eight percent in the five weeks following the election, when compared with the peak of the campaign in October. In that same period, CNN saw a 51 percent drop, while MSNBC ratings dropped 41 percent. Fox’s comparably stable ratings ensured that the channel would have sole control of first place among cable news channels come the year’s end.
If it was one time, I'd agree with you. But the press has a narrative and pattern at disparaging and/or trying to delegitimize Trump. So he spoke on it, and clarified that in todays briefing.
I watched the entire thing from 10AM to 6PM. It was not reported accurately. The picture they used to do the comparison was a picture of the place before the speech.
Like I said I don't really care about the crowd size. I just thought Spicer's behavior this weekend was bizarre to say the least. It wasn't even so much what he said as it was how he said it. He wasn't speaking so much as preaching, scolding the press like he is holier than thou and then leaving. I thought he did okay today and hopefully that's more representative of how he intends to convey information.
