You cant read a tax return at face value. A joe blow definitely shouldnt. Sure if its a couple w2s and mortgage interest. Not when its as convoluted as trumps would be.
Here you go. https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/2838696-Trump-2016-Financial-Disclosure.html All the companies he owns, all the stocks he owns, all the properties, and so on. His wealth itemized, for the most part.
Or clinton's even. Her empire is over $100M and income in the $10M range. No I didn't look at the returns, but those are the numbers reported in the press. But you don't want to know she made $10M, you want to know how much she got paid from each of the wall street banks for speeches and from foreign governments and for her husband "sitting on boards" of real or fictitious organizations.
2 part response. 1) Keep your promises, or, your credibility suffers. 2) I have no interest in seeing Trump's tax return. I have seen enough numbers this week from his experts that can not count.
I would like to stop anyone who is running for POTUS from sealing their records. Rules to run should be requirements so that all who run for POTUS follow the same rules or be removed. Hillary would show her taxes, how about the C. foundation thats where they hid the money. How about Barrack, where did he go to school and how and really where was he born? Many of the same questions about Cruz
No way, how stupid. The media is above reproach. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...-shot-at-donald-trump/?utm_term=.ad6d59254ea8
You're intentionally missing the point which I find hypocritical and sad. You honestly don't see this lowered standard being further abused by politicians? "Trump didn't release his taxes so I don't have to release my...." We've seen politicians hide their bullshit in the past. You honestly think this won't make it easier? Or let me put it in a way you'll understand, this does nothing to drain the swamp but instead makes the water murkier.
It's too late dog. JFizzle has spoken and liked many of Denny's posts; therefore there can be no rebuttal. Let's face it. Denny ends up being right again.
Here's a sample Schedule C for 2014. Trump's return probably has a few hundred of these, considering his disclosure has him owning hundreds of companies. In real estate, there might be a separate LLC for every development. $122,500 in gross receipts. No itemization of where the money came from. The expenses are rather broad, too. "Advertising." It would be informative to know in what markets, what types (TV, radio) and so on. No line item for settling law suits. Oh no!
Probably still depreciating some U boats and other Nazi equipment, I didn't know you could stretch that out over so many years and even a reincarnation.
So you don't see other politicians using this as a precedence to not release whatever the fuck they don't want to release?
When I want to trust somebody....the president is high up on that list. We're talking about a guy who has a secretary of state who was globally heavily involved in Mobile Oil....Trump who had a ton of stocks in Steel and Real Estate...with casinos, golf courses and hotels all over the planet...I would have wanted transparency if John Kerry had been elected to see how his fortune in the Caymans and Belgium got there as well as Mitt Romney...I see this as an unusual avoidance by Trump more than anything and defying tradition seems to be the culture he's bringing....I read today he's already booked the diplomatic reps from Kuwait into his hotel which IS a conflict of interest from the start....I see more and more of this to come....buckle up
