I miss the good old days when I would set my alarm to wake up right before the D-League game, knowing that my fans here were waiting.

Just like after ESPN banned Gramps so I took over the predictions game. I had no TV, same now, and free live semi-legal internet games like I watch now weren't available. So I followed the changing box score online, typed the numbers into my spreadsheet right before the game ended, then the game ended. As fast as I could, I typed in stats from the last seconds like the last basket or rebound, sorted the prediction participants by how they ranked, and posted the beautiful straight columns within 5 minutes of the game ending. I really had it down. When the pimply teenage moderator wiped out months of my posts including predictions posts, it was lost online, though game results are still in my old hard drive. Including my posts at the ends of seasons with how everyone ranked for the whole season, etc.

Alas, my fans hunger for my D-League threads now, but I can no longer satisfy them. Younger, inferior talent must arise to supplant the stars of old. While your movies and music may suck, I wish the best in your continuing endeavor to perpetuate the high standards we elder stars created in Hollywood. And when you have to set your damned alarm clock to wake up for a D-League game, always remember...That's Showbiz!

I swear, if HCP starts making threads for The Snake's games, there is nowhere you'll be able to hide. Not even Point Roberts.

You know the area. They gentrified Fairhaven and keep trying in Birch Bay, but they can't. So uh...why don't you and Riverman do a D-League thread? Try it, you'll like it. If you tell me in advance, I'll concurrently post my deep insights gathered from the online boxscore.

I can't tell if @jlprk is a genius, or if he has dementia.

I learned to not volunteer for anything....ask me to help you move, I break mirrors....my shallow male word quota has been used up since the election...old gray matter technology storage unit doesn't hold a charge as long anymore but if I could conquer my OT habit which is like tobacco use...bitter, bad for health but is like starting a fire in the upper diaphragm, I would attend as many as possible....I quit the nasty tobacco habit after years of struggle...OT is my next challenge..wish me well! I think we need a youth movement....maybe Spud would be up to the challenge?

Stotts is on RipCityMornings right now, and just said that Layman is going to have an 8-game run in the D-League. Also said Quarterman would be down there with him if he hadn't twisted his ankle.

Damn good question. I might assume that they think he could actually play for the main squad, but I'd rather see him get actual minutes in the D.
