Fake news? Not reported news! https://teamster.org/news/2017/01/hoffa-withdrawal-tpp-right-choice-us-trade-policy (WASHINGTON) – The following is a statement from Teamsters General President James P. Hoffa on President Donald Trump signing an executive order to formally withdraw the United States from the Trans Pacific Partnership. “Today, President Trump made good on his campaign promise to withdraw the United States from the Trans-Pacific Partnership. With this decision, the president has taken the first step toward fixing 30 years of bad trade policies that have cost working Americans millions of good-paying jobs. “The Teamsters Union has been on the frontline of the fight to stop destructive trade deals like the TPP, China PNTR, CAFTA and NAFTA for decades. Millions of working men and women saw their jobs leave the country as free trade policies undermined our manufacturing industry. We hope that President Trump’s meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on Jan. 31 opens a real dialogue about fixing the flawed NAFTA. “We take this development as a positive sign that President Trump will continue to fulfill his campaign promises in regard to trade policy reform and instruct the USTR to negotiate future agreements that protect American workers and industry.”
I don't see him in the photo? Which union leader are you calling a buffoon? The commie or the socialist?
Green font. If he wins over the unions, the democrats will lose an important constituency. Though they already mostly lost the membership.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...e-English-website-nixing-Spanish-content.html Donald Trump will not be 'El Presidente,' judging from the website his White House launched on Friday. @EL PRESIDENTE
I'm happy to see the progressives stomped on. Maybe the Phoenix will be what the people actually want.

So I guess I didn't hear on NPR that (a) Unions were always opposed to trade deals (b) Trump is meeting with Unions (c) Union opposition to the TPP was why Hillary Clinton also said she would not support it. You know why it wasn't ratified? Because, despite majority Republican support, many Democrats in congress were opposed to it. I guess you've abandoned the free trade wing of the Republican Party, huh Denny? I also heard on NPR how Australia (one of the signees) is open to China just stepping in and taking the USA's place in the deal.
Government to stop siding with Google and Netflix over infrastructure providers. Now they'll side with nobody. As it should be. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/ajit-pai-net-neutrality-foe-is-new-head-of-the-fcc-president-trump/ Ajit Pai, "'net neutrality" foe, picked to head FCC
I'm OK with free trade, but I'm not OK with unfair trade. The loser didn't win the rank and file union members and now the heads are gravitating toward Trump. 3+ years of this and it will be unions advertising for his reelection and knocking on doors on his behalf. Next up is the black population. When they get what they want - school choice and real investment in their neighborhoods and enterprise - they may not vote democrat next time. Be afraid.
LOL CNN still reporting that the FBI is investigating alleged contacts between Mike Flynn and a Russian diplomat. Talk about fake news. https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...fb9411d332c_story.html?utm_term=.2f68913110c3 FBI reviewed Flynn’s calls with Russian ambassador but found nothing illicit The FBI in late December reviewed intercepts of communications between the Russian ambassador to the United States and retired Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn — national security adviser to then-President-elect Trump — but has not found any evidence of wrongdoing or illicit ties to the Russian government, U.S. officials said. The calls were picked up as part of routine electronic surveillance of Russian officials and agents in the United States, which is one of the FBI’s responsibilities, according to the U.S. officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss counterintelligence operations. Routine electronic surveillance of Russian officials. But if they surveil us, scream bloody murder.
