Re: Hornets on Fire! They have won 12 of there last 17 games. 12-5 is fair good if you ask me, I knew the hornets wern't going to suck all year long and fall into lottery contention (other people thought so).and yes this is good news .. if they can keep this up im sure we can see them above 500. in no time, u think ?
Re: Hornets on Fire! I agree. If New Orleans was healthy all year long, they'd be around the #7 seed right now, IMO, because of how poorly the Clippers started the season. I think They still have a very legit shot at making the playoffs as the #8 seed. They are only 3 games under .500 right now, and they are just getting into a groove. The race to for the #8 seed is going to be a tight one between the Clips, Wolves, and Hornets. Golden State is right there too. The Hornets' schedule for the rest of February is not very tough either, they should be .500 by the end of the month. HOWEVER, their March schedule is tough: @ Chicago vs. Utah @ Denver @ Phoenix @ Utah vs. New Jersey @ New York @ Washington vs. Boston @ Memphis vs. LA Lakers vs. Houston vs. Dallas @ San Antonio vs. New York The April schedule isn't very easy either. It's not going to be a cake-walk, but New Orleans does have an outside chance at getting that #8 seed. If I had to pick right now though, I'd say the Clippers take it.
Re: Hornets on Fire! Yeah the Hornets are on fire big time! They are one of two surprises to me. I knew they would be better once CP3 got back but I didn't expect them to win so many so soon. The Jazz are also surprise 4 on the trot with Boozer out!
Re: Hornets on Fire! Before the Hornets had all their injuries they were doing pretty good in the West but while a lot of their players were injured they really struggled and it has dropped them out of playoff contention as of right now. But if they can get their players back and continue their hot streak they might be able to get the 7th or 8th seed in the west.
Re: Hornets on Fire! ^I think that the Hornets have a pretty good shot at making it.CP3 is amazing, and if Peja, West, and everybody else can keep their game up, I think they have a pretty good shot at making the playoffs. Tyson is being a beast under the boards, and this team is pretty damn deep IMO. I think that they very easily could make the playoffs if they can stay healthy.

Re: Hornets on Fire! I never heard Peja out of the season. But when he does come back, the hornets can have somebody to close games for them. Hopefully they can stay out of injuries now then, or it'll kill them. And ya I see them either taking the 8th or 7th spot if they keep this up. Maybe if they make the playoffs they'll stay in Oklahoma city?
Re: Hornets on Fire! O ok because on sportsline there were some reports that he might have to miss the whole season.
