Rondo could be the playmaker for the Cavs. He's relatively big and a good defender so he could also play alongside Kyrie and MCW I think could be the future for the Bulls while Rondo could help the Cavs win now. Another player not mentioned in this thread is Carmelo Anthony. Not sure how one trade includes all of the above but I think there could be some interesting dealing going on
Here's a prediction: Clippers get: Carmelo Anthony Justin Holiday (trade exception from CJ Wilcox) Knicks Get: Austin Rivers Wesley Johnson Paul Pierce (Who gets rerouted to the Celtics for James Young and Demetrius Jackson) Brice Johnson 2018 Right to Swap 2021 LAC Unprotected 1st
That would be on Doc due he is also handles the player personal. So if his son get traded it be Doc trading him.
Yep, but he's also the head coach of a VERY old team that is in win now mode. I posted yesterday that of the 14 players on the Clippers roster, 11 of them are older than our oldest player. This may be his last chance to try to win it all (or at least advance beyond the second round) with the CP3/Blake/DeAndre core. They are definitely a couple steps behind GSW and SAS. Personally, I don't think Carmelo pushes them over the top, but if Doc does, I'm sure he'd be willing to trade his son for a shot an another ring. That would suck for his son (if they go one to win a ring without him), but his dad basically rescued his career by pulling him off the scrap heap when no one else wanted him. He's improved a lot since he was traded to the Clipps, but at the time he flat out sucked ass. He'd probably be playing in China right now if not for his dad. BNM
