Man, this was a hell of a game. What a way to end it too, huh? With a Ricky Davis game winner... ugh! Oh well, I'm getting used to this crap. I'm immune to watching the Celtics lose now. Anyway, great effort tonight, and it was GREAT to see Paul Pierce have a nice offensive night. The Truth is back, folks! I love it!

    - Doc pissed me off tonight. As usual, he doesn't call a timeout on the last offensive possession of the game that could win us the game.. instead he screams plays from the sideline at these inexperienced players and expects execution. F*ck that. Then, he doesn't play our best active perimeter defensive player on the last defensive possession (Rajon Rondo). WTF is that? He didn't play Rondo with Pierce enough at ALL. He didn't run any plays for Gerald Green after he had a great offensive 3rd quarter.

    - Perk displayed SO MUCH effort tonight. I loved it! Part of it is because he's a hard worker to begin with, but the other reason he fought so hard was because he does not like Mark Blount. Whatever reason, he did a hell of a job tonight.

    - Big Al had a very tough night because of the foul trouble. But even then, THE TEAM NEEDS TO FEED HIM A HELL OF A LOT MORE! I don't understand why they don't. Is it the players being that dumb or is it Doc not telling them to?

    - Delonte's stat line looks nice, but I am very dissapointed with him. He was way too passive tonight, he made some HORRIBLE decisions and turnovers trying to make a pass/play, and he was burned by Foye on the last possession (which is why Ricky was left open on the side, because Pierce HAD TO collapse on Foye).

    - Gerald Green had a very nice game. He was very aggressive, he was taking it to the basket, he hit a couple jumpers, and most importantly he didn't force anything or settle. Doc is an idiot for not running plays for him in the 4th.

    - Gomes had a great first half and a solid second half. He's just so solid, I love him. He's such a great role player, any coach would love to have him.

    - Down the stretch, Scal made some EXCELLENT plays. He dove on the floor, he made 2 beautiful passes, and he had a few GREAT defensive possessions on KG. Way to go, Scal!

    - Rondo played a little sloppier than usual, but overall he had a solid game. He did a MUCH better job on Foye than Delonte did and he did his best with the little offensive sets we actually did run.

    - KG was KG. Triple-double, the guy is unbelievable. Ricky D is still my boy, and I'm happy he had a good game. I'm just mad he had a good game against us. Marky Mark Blount, AKA Stone Hands, AKA Skipper did great. He was really shooting well and he was hustling like crazy. I don't like the guy at all, but I give him props for the season he's having. Randy Foye did a decent job tonight, but he needs to work on his defense A TON. Also, my man Craig Smith (B.C. reppin!) was a beast on the glass.

would've been good to see a W, this is just getting embarrassing, but whatever. Paul played a great great game. He was scoring at will, doing it with shooting touch too.Gomes also played a hekc of a game, pretty quietly tho. He got the job done as usual.Delonte is playing great as a point guard. He's seeing developments that he used to not see, he's playing good in the pick and roll, and he hit his open shots tonight. good job delonte.

Whoa whoa whoa... no. Delonte is putting up numbers, but he is not playing all that well as a POINT guard. Not at all. He's turning the ball over like crazy, hesitating, thinking too much, and making some bad decisions off penetration. I love Delonte, but to say that he has been playing well as a point guard is just wrong. Playaofthegame would agree with me, Hickman and Gilroy would agree, and the hosts on Celticsstufflive and the callers agreed with it. I'm sure Doc would agree as well. Delonte is not a natural point guard, and it's not right to try and groom him that way.
