I didnt think the boards would be all doom and gloom after this one! Cmon guys last night was one of the best performances of the year! I feel like @KingSpeed right now but there is a lot to be encouraged by. Evan Turner is the first thing to come to mind he had his best game in the scarlet and black last night by far. He looks to be the best true PG on the roster, I love the adjustment Terry has made to make him the primary ball handler with dame and cj playing off ball. I think it has lead to them being less likely to fall back into their respective bad habit comfort zones (CJ:over dribbling black hole Dame: early shot clock 35 footers). We played those warriors tough last night on defense as well, both KD and Thompson had poor shooting nights which was encouraging more than that tho we were able to stay in front of ball handlers and contest jumpshots better for the most part. Yeah we got screwed by the zebras but even with a free throw disparity that would make Donaghy blush the game came down to a WIDE open 3 from Turner that came up short it was a great look and one he probably makes 50% of the time in live action so Im good with it (if you remeber last year Turner beat the blazers with that exact type of shot). At the end of the day a loss like this one is nothing we should hang our heads about and say well this is proof we cant make this roster/DameCJ/Lineup/Coach work. We showed moxie and toughness the likes of which we havent seen all year.

chin up blazer fans there seems to be a light at the end of this dark tunnel!

    Last night made my season.

My son, who is 13, doesn't have the patience to sit through an entire torturous Blazer game. But, he peeks in when Meyers is in the game in case something hilarious happens.

After witnessing the defensive prowess during Meyers' first half shift my son says "Meyers needs a wrist band".

I was kind of tuned out and didn't really make the connection. Later I realized he was talking about the color-coded wrist bands he and his friends wore when they were in first grade playing "Little Hoopers" basketball so that they could find the guy they were guarding. LMAO!
