No way this operation was planned in a week, or by Trump's transition team. He did give the go ahead, which is regrettable.
Ben Shapiro is a smart guy but there are othet options. Fuck twitter, it becomes an encyclopedia for some people.
This is what Trump does and will continue to do....make rash decisions without consulting experts and taking the time to get it right...it's a pattern ..the guy is operating from pure chaos......morning prayer meeting talking about his Apprentice ratings....he's incompetent and unqualified to lead...what's the surprise?
This is pure speculation. We have no idea from whom he received input, or what input he received, prior to authorizing this mission.
His first military op.....crash a helicopter, kill women and children and get a Seal Team member killed, have to blow up your own plane with drones and accomplish nothing......get ready .......stay tuned.....it's ugly right out of the blocks
he doesn't read what he signs....just asks his yes men where to sign.....I didn't vote for the guy but his cabinet authorized this raid in Yemen...that's a fact. Whether Trump actually thought it through......probably not.
simple search will show you many articles by qualified strategists talking about how he fucked this up.....it's not speculation, it's a current event. even if you support Trump's actions, they were bad actions...#thanksdonald.......
I'm willing to read anything you'd like to link that provides insight into what he actually considered and who he did/didn't consult prior to authorization. Thanks in advance.
I hope this mission was called "Mission Making America Great Again" because it would be the perfect metaphor.
It sucks that these things become political footballs. There's no way of knowing how much blame there is for this botched raid and where exactly it should fall. Trump's an easy target because he authorized it, but the planning began under Obama's watch. Every president should be aware that any time he authorizes something like this, there's a pretty good chance that something is going to go wrong. Here's a different take: http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slat...enly_outraged_about_our_counterterrorism.html
Trump is president now...the buck stops with him...he ordered the strikes....and his first military operation was a failure from my view....unnecessary deaths and destruction of expensive military equipment.....now folks can go back through to the revolutionary war and highlight military mistakes all day but in the here and now.....this is on Trump
