I wouldn't expect it to get overturned...I think it's more posturing for solidarity to make Trump overreact...a lot of people are going to poke sticks at this administration...it won't be pretty

 

Trudeau stated clearly that all refugees are welcome in Canada...if stranded, that's an option..

And another actual judge had said it is illegal. Trump would be wise to let it go. By the time an appeal is heard, the ban would probably be over. It is a fight he can't win, unless he actually intends the ban to last longer than 90 days

 

The travel pause and refugee ban is legal and it will be oberturned in appeals and I hope it does. I also hope they expand it to more terrorist counties. I'd also like anyone that is complaining about our vetting to pay attention to what military members say about their experiences over in these shit hole desert countries.

 

Ha! Trump now thinks he is a better lawyer than the US Attorneys. Maybe he doesn't realize that the other order isn't controlling precedent. Way to throw the DOJ under the bus.

 

I love this discussion. It was a 90 day ban. On fox news I heard a woman saying how ridiculous this is and that people will die. Then she said during "our thorough 2 year vetting process blah blah blah"

So, people will die 21 months from now if only they weren't subjected to this evil 90 day wait? Got it.

 

Or maybe exactly 24 months ago these people started this process, survived until now and then BAM...dead. Ok.

Who cares? We aren't the world's fucking safety blanket. We have our own problems to resolve. Unless of course you're Starbucks and you want to hire 10,000 of them before your own.

Pretty much this except I would care if it saved lives. But, they'd be brought here temporarily. Instead though, Germany can have as many as they can get. And Saudi Arabia and anyone else closer. You know VW wants to sell the most cars globally, start at home. TDi wagons for all refugees.

I mean Sulu tweeted that Merkel is the leader of the free world, she can do it. We can spend every cent on our homeless instead.
