You have to have some semblance of agility to do that. I think he'd bust his teeth!

Who on our team would do the best at it? Probably Connaugton.

I wouldn't count out Vonleh or Layman....both can dunk a ball pretty well

Dunno--they talk a lot about both upper body strength and "strength-to-weight ratios". Napier weighs at least 30 pounds less than Pat--might make it easier to complete the upper-body intensive obstacles.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I think someone like Damian Lillard would do the best. He's "small" by NBA standards, but not by ANW standards (nor is he overly tall by ANW standards). He seems like he'd have the right proportions and he has explosive athleticism.

    Nice.

Thanks for the heads up. Every indication is that we are not done yet. Have you heard anything?

I think a lot of teams are willing to deal so opportunities will likely be there, just depends what we are after and are willing to pay. An upgrade at PF remains a priority IMO, I'm not interested in Ibaka because of his impending UFA status this summer and likely huge cost. Trying to think of younger, lower cost PF options.

lol, we already have lots and lots of "lower cost PF options." What we need is better basketball players, even if, perhaps especially if, there is some risk involved.

I would of hoped you got my meaning of "lower cost" - Ibaka would not only cost us our Mem pick at least, then we 'd have the "pleasure" of paying him probably 115-130 mil at least give or take a bit over 5 yrs IF he opted to sign here, and what has been our signing success rate in recent years of top tier UFAs? - yeah I thought so

I'm really hoping we can get in on Okafor. I think we have the assets to get it done now, might be why he was held out on Saturday and didn't travel with the team to Charlotte. Timing would be interesting, makes me think we could be sending at least one pick, but still wanted to have a pick left in this draft.

You wanna put Nurk and Okafor together?

Not sure I like that spacing. Would prefer someone of the mold of Ibaka/Millsap. Their contracts suck, though.

I think it could totally work as long as one of them has some High post ability, I think Nurk does. At the same time Nurk could be perceived as a backup for us, which we really lack still.

    C Okafor/Nurkic
    PF Vonleh/Leonard

Hmmm, Nurk did not seem happy at all backing up Jokic and I don't think a Nurk/Okafor pairing would work well as they both are C's

I'd much rather have Okafor back-up Nurkic. I like the idea of a big body in the middle alongside Dame/CJ - also, I would think he could set some brutal screens. Then let Okafor come in and dominate the ball with the bench unit - his scoring efficiency should spike going up against other bench players. Maybe?
