I agree. It is true that the defensive intensity can't compare to the big league but you can still see a few things from watching him play in the D league. For example he has very good handles for a player who is 6'9". He is a quick leaper, he can hit a wide open pull up jumper ,and unforced turnovers do not seem to be an issue. That is better than most.....
It's weird how laymans three is the worst part of his game right now. He went 7-11 shooting, and all his misses were threes. Actually no, nevermind, that's encouraging, because he's showing an all around game and his three point shot is too pure to be this bad statistically.
Layman today. 20 points. 8-15 shooting, 2-5 from deep. His shooting % has gone up the more he's played, so weird.
He was -23, though, which isn't great. Particularly in only 28 minutes... The Raps team has some interesting players, though, including Bruno "Brazilian Freak" Caboclo
he could have been the difference between being a minus 50 though...that's the quirk with that...because he's out there, only a minus 23
I think D league help get stroke back and seeing the ball go through the hoop got to help his confidence.
