lol... Blazers and competitive should not be in the same sentence without the words "are not" between them.

He looks bit like Sabonis. He looks more Sabonis then Sabonis Jr:) I love it. We got a bad boy finally and it was needed in this "happy friends" team. Can't wait for the next move.

Hopefully it will make them realize this is a business, not a fraternity.

I'm sure it will initially, but once they see what Nurkic can bring to the team, I'm sure it'll settle down.

He's shown the touch of hitting that 2o footer. Certainly encouraging. Hopefully our coaching can once again turn a player around.

It sucks that he is the only player that actually chose to live in the city and he had to put up with this shit.

well almost, guy was about to
    http://www.nba.com/blazers/forwardcenter/mason-plumlee-would-prefer-you-not-spray-paint-his-car/

“I pulled outside of my building and the protest was going right across from me,” said Plumlee. “This kid walked up in front of my car and he had a spray paint can, he pulled his hood up, put the mask over his face. I don’t know if he knew who was inside of the car, but I’m rather large, so if he was ready to spray I was ready to stop it.”

I loved Plumlee's skill set, and think he was underrated at protecting the rim. BUT, I am so sick of seeing him dribble the ball up, 6-8' from the rim with no defender and then panic, looking for someone to pass the ball to because he was afraid to shoot. He did know his limitations, but this year I really thought he would develop a couple post moves and a semi-reasonable shot. Didn't happen.

Nurkic is obviously untested, but I did like the sampling in the video that showed decent touch, decent passing, solid defensive footwork and a bit of a mean streak. At 22 I love taking a chance on him. As others have said I would really like to see them pair him up with Vonleh for the rest of the season. If they could develop that would be one heck of a strong front court. Maybe Nurkic can bring out some mean in Vonleh. I would like to see that same mean get transferred to Biebs, but just don't see it happening.

No, Meyers isn't worth Nurkic. Should have traded him for Dan Issel

Tin foil may not work for free throws, but we'd get our toughness.

Dame should have played better defense if he wanted everyone to stick around.
