This is completely unrelated to his political message.....

But he needs to change his name to Busta Seam.

Busta Rhymes looked like a fat POS out there. Could barely even rap he looked so out of breath. WTF was that?

I do wonder how the media would have reacted if a bunch of musicians would have put on such a defiant performance towards the last president.

Has there been any memorable, lasting music the past 5 years?

The dumb kid at work says that people say The Weeknd is a combined new version of Michael Jackson AND Prince.

I've only heard maybe 30 seconds of his music so maybe he is right?

    HA!

These days a high pitched voice = MJ and Prince. Forget about the fact that they were two of the best performers of all time. The Weeknd is just a decent singer.

Nuh uh. Kid said so. Then I read that The Weeknd said he had to be high to make hid music. Which seems perfect for his target audience.

I stayed in the country and stayed fairly quiet during the Obamination presidency. Maybe these celebs can give me the same courtesy.

The Grammys are so unwatched that rather than start a new thread I'll just bump the last one we had, from 3 years ago.

Grammy Awards ratings dip to all-time low
By Joseph A. Wulfsohn | Fox News

18-year-old Billie Eilish grabs album, song, record and new artist of the year at the 2020 Grammy Awards.

The Grammy Awards may have been the biggest night in music, but it failed to earn big ratings.

The over three-hour marathon of performances and trophy handouts gathered 18.7 million viewers for CBS on Sunday night, marking the ceremony's lowest-rated broadcast in its history, according to Nielsen ratings.

This year's broadcast saw a roughly six percent drop from last year's ceremony which had 19.9 million viewers. However, the Grammys faced a whopping 53 percent drop from 2012, which had 39.9 million viewers.

The Grammys, which took place at The Staple Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, had several tributes to NBA legend Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash hours before the ceremony.

It was a big night for 18-year-old singer Billie Eilish, who made history as the young artist to win the four biggest awards including Song of the Year and Album of the Year, taking home six trophies in total.

Other winners of the night include Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and even former First Lady Michelle Obama, who won the Best Spoken Word Album trophy for her 2018 best-selling memoir, "Becoming."

Joy Villa wears pro-Trump gown to Grammys: 'Impeached and re-elected'
By Melissa Roberto | Fox News

Singer Joy Villa arrives at the 62nd Grammy Awards wearing a gown in support of President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign.

Joy Villa turned heads at the Grammy Awards on Sunday with yet another bold pro-Trump inspired gown.

The award-winning recording artist and political activist showed up to the red carpet decked out in a red, white and blue ensemble. The 28-year-old began posing for the cameras in a white form-fitting coverlet adorned with blue sequins and white stars.

Villa then took off the white outer layer and revealed a plunging red halter dress embellished with white letters that spelled out "TRUMP" down the center. The gown also read "2020" along the bottom.

The backside of the dress made even more of a MAGA statement, with the word "IMPEACHED" down the center and "re-elected" horizontally along the bottom.

Villa completed the look with a large red feather pinned to her hair. She also held a little black bag with the Republican Party's elephant symbol.

Villa is known for making political statements on the red carpet. The 2020 Grammy Awards marked the third event where she showed support for Trump through her attire. In February 2019, Villa made her annual MAGA statement dressed as a barbed-wire border wall and a red Make America Great Again purse.

Last year, Villa told Fox News of her ensemble, “Well to no surprise, I’m still a Trump supporter and supporting the president and what he’s doing. This is my Make America Great Again purse and dress is by Desi Designs Couture, and it represents the wall."
