Re: Reason why Thomas isn't playing The reason he can't play is because he is horrible at playing defense. I used to have comments on why Skiles doesn't play him but now I know why. HE f*cking FOULS TOO MUCH. He probably has the lowest basketball IQ in the entire league. He gets 4-6 fouls a game playing 5 minutes because he reaches or is lazy or just plain sucks at defense. Sure he can block shots but until he starts playing Smart defense, he doesn't deserve more then 1 minute a game. It's pretty sad when the 4th overal pick can't stay on the court because he doesn't know how to play defense. Hell Mugsy Boges could force 6 fouls on Thomas by posting him up. Its so dissapointing, I really dont know if this kid is all that anymore.
Re: Reason why Thomas isn't playing You are judging him way too hard mayn, the dude is raw you gotta give him time to develope his game.. you cant like a player and just dislike him immediately because his defnese isnt up to game yet when a player is as raw as this guy. the dude can play, you gotta let experience take over before you tell if he is all that or not
Re: Reason why Thomas isn't playing To say that Tyrus Thomas is a horrible defender is wrong. He's a prick, sure. But he is not a bad defender at all. All rookies have problems with fouling right away. Refs are purposely extra hard on rookies, and Tyrus Thomas fits that mold. Don't worry about it.

Chris Duhon, I remmeber you said he needs to go, and the bulls wouldnt even have been in the game without Duhon tonight. NBA Players are alot bigger than college players so its natural a rookie produces more fouls than other players.

Re: Reason why Thomas isn't playing Well I have cooled down a bit and Im not quite as mad anymore. I hope he comes back after the Allstar break and is a newer improved version of Tyrus Thomas.
Re: Reason why Thomas isn't playing If he could just use his athletic ability in the right way he might be able to play more, he is extremely talented and has a lot of potential but there are a lot of other players more deserving of playing than him on the Bulls roster.
