ha has been way off in the 5 games - (aside from the last game where he was 8/10)he has gone 4/12 8/19 6/23 3/17 and tonight he is 0/6 so far. WTF is up with him?

He has been hurt. He just came back from injury, and you'd have to imagine that he's not in 100% game shape yet. He'll be fine, I wouldn't worry about it. Look at some of Adam Morrison's stat lines (FGM/FGA), then you'll really be wondering.

hahaha true about morrison- the most perplexing thing about CP3 is that the hornets are still winning with him shooting like bill cartwright - yeah I know bill actually shot ok but dam it was ugly!!

Haha yeah, the Hornets are playing very well lately. A lot of that has to do with David West coming back and picking up where he left off. He's a hell of a player too. But Paul runs that team still, despite the Antoine Walker-like shooting percentages lately. He's the kind of guy than can score 4 points a night and still have a massive impact because of his vocal leadership, heart, and great playmaking ability. I love Chris Paul.

It's his leadership that helps him carry the team. For a young guy, he's playing like an old veteran.

He has been injured for a while and he is probably not 100% back from his bad ankle injury. He might not be shooting well but he is the leader of the team and they need him if they want to have any chance of making the playoffs. They have been playing well as of late and are trying to get into the playoff race. After the All-Star Break where he can rest and practice a lot he should return back to normal.
