The biggest change has be the addition of the Delivery charge. This along with the Basic charge is more than the monthly bill was before the delivery charge was tacked on. But big rate increases came also. http://www.oregonlive.com/business/index.ssf/2010/12/rates_set_to_jump_for_pacific.html
Just one little comment from Trump today about Flynn. Treated unfairly, unlawful leaks! We have not heard the end of this, the guys (I assume in the CIA or some intel agency) that leaked this stuff to the press will no doubt get their just reward. These types in the government are a bigger threat to the nation than Russia might be. They work to divide the nation and undermine the duly elected current administration. I look forward to them dancing in public.
Aw, take a guess Sly. Actually I don't know if he was or if the task was accomplished. The play is not over.
Remember when Trump supporters were crowing about how bad Putin was making Obama look when they didn't react to us kicking out the Russian diplomats or the sanctions? Now we know why. There's a reason Obama fire him for insubordination and obviously he didn't learn his lesson the first time. Also, wire tapping these types of telephone calls is SOP and not illegal. Flynn had to know his calls were being recorded. Yet he felt so comfortable with his status in the Trump administration that he thought he could completely undermine President Obama's authority in the days prior to the inauguration without repercussion.
Oh it is absolutely illegal to record the conversations of a US citizen without a court order. It is another violation to release the information to the media. Yes, I betcha Flynn knew he would be recorded.
That is not correct, if the person on the other end of the line is the target of the wiretapping and is a foreigner. barfo
"Who must give permission to record a telephone or in-person conversation? Federal law permits recording telephone calls and in-person conversations with the consent of at least one of the parties. See 18 U.S.C. 2511(2)(d). This is called a "one-party consent" law. Under a one-party consent law, you can record a phone call or conversation so long as you are a party to the conversation. Furthermore, if you are not a party to the conversation, a "one-party consent" law will allow you to record the conversation or phone call so long as your source consents and has full knowledge that the communication will be recorded. In addition to federal law, thirty-eight states and the District of Columbia have adopted "one-party consent" laws and permit individuals to record phone calls and conversations to which they are a party or when one party to the communication consents. See the State Law: Recording section of this legal guide for information on state wiretapping laws. " Perhaps there is another law? One that also allows divulging the information to the media?
Wrong, the Russian guy is not a US citizen, these kinds of conversations are routinely taped, and Flynn knew it... he just didn't care.
And before anything happens with this conversation "routinely taped" what is supposes to happen first? I have no idea what Flynn was thinking, how do you know with certainty?
Here you go: https://lawfareblog.com/treatment-flynns-phone-calls-complies-fisa-minimization-procedures The answer is nothing has to happen first and Flynn would know he was being taped - but you're right, I don't know with certainty what Flynn was thinking but I do know he hates Obama. I just assumed when he took the job with the Trump administration he actually wanted it and planned to keep it.
As the former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, he would have known that the NSA routinely listens in on communications with foreign diplomats.
