He was a big part of it outside of the shitty effort overall because this team looked checked out mentally. He hamstrings us on both ends of the court.

lets save "quite good" for next yr, this team needs an infusion of talent, we have guys who should be playin in Timbuktu - maybe

He looked real good, but I won't say good or bad trade until I see a bigger volume of work in a blazer uniform.
I didn't jump to conclusions like many on this forum did over Turners poor play to start the season.
I won't jump to a conclusion on how good or bad Nurkic is either.
I hope he keeps it up though.

If Nurkic plays like that, Portland might fuck around and make the playoffs. Dame and CJ aren't gonna struggle this bad every night.

Why is everybody so mad? I let that anger go about these games long ago after I realized what we really were. Let the season just play out, we don't want that 8th seed, hoping we actually lose more games but not intentionally tank obviously. Rest Lillard up. Surround our back court with some better guys in the offseason and this team will be so much better next season

Last time I seen this kind of hysteria over a player in here was Jake Layman . He can't get off the bench. Not sure how to take the excitement...:)

Yep. I LOVE that it was MEYERS who played garbage time. Nurkic is already being treated by Stotts as one of our stars.

Well, one actually proved in Denver he can put up numbers... so... it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility with him.

Layman... yeah, the fuck happened there?

Jake had one good game and had never played in the league before. Nurkic showed this potential in Denver.

Makes you wonder why didn't Denver play him if it is that obvious.

We at least play Meyers to ride the tank and increase his value. If that''s possible. Also, it will be interesting to see if Crabbe can improve his value before now and the end of the season. But he's playing like crap much of the time. Plumlee may have been our only tradable asset.... ugh. If we trade Aminu this team will become unwatchable?

That is a very wise stance.

That said, I'm very happy he played so well; better to have a great start than a shitty one.

Aminu is the forward version of Plumlee, except he's got a much friendlier contract situation. We should be able to get something decent for him. Oubre would be great.

We should hire Lionel in the offseason. It's a little funny cause Nurkic's rookie year, I thought his ceiling looked like Marc Gasol.
