Possibly. But we need to trade Crabbe in that scenario for a non-guaranteed expiring contract that we could cut.

The reason Crabbe to ATL would work is because Millsap essentially takes over his salary (and a little more at least if we resign him) but if we have both Millsap on the team and Crabbe this summer then to keep Millsap without paying a huge, huge luxury tax bill then we would need to trade Crabbe for no salary coming back at that time. That is almost impossible to do.

Actually you're right, we'd have to match salaries anyway so Crabbe plus picks for Millsap makes sense.

    Millsap four years ago? Definitely.

32 year old Millsap? Hell No!!
He hasn't looked like his usual self the past few times we've played him.

We need to continue the youth movement/refresh.
Save the best of those picks for the draft.

Millsap is risky! Can't we package Meyer's and Crabbe and picks for Butler and Gibson and have a win win?

So Vlade Divac told Cousins agent he isn't shopping him but obviously SAC is lying.

Not that I blame him. 219 MIL for any player (but especially Cousins) just to have the chance to keep him is ridiculous.

    Because Portland is the barometer?

Btw if that's their best offer, I bet we could.

Harkless on cheap contract, Ezeli expiring and three 1st in this years strong draft is way better than Pelicans offer

They stopped picking up the phone. Sounds like they found two offers they are considering and don't want to consider anything else. Almost like they just want him gone and don't care if they don't get the best offer.

Are you sure? If we got boogie we are making the playoffs. Im not sure 3 picks in the 15 to 25ish range is that attractive. Hield was at least a high lotto pick, is cheap and still young.
