So I wonder if this made the warriors a little nervous? Will be a heck of a 1 vs 8 series if the Pels get in.

Shouldn't Mr. Slydog change the title of this thread now?

    Good trade for everyone involved.

Good for Sacramento - Boogie's not a leader, and would cost them a huge % of their salary cap for years to come.
Good for NOLA - If he and Davis can stay healthy, watch out.
Good for Boogie - he publicly stated he wanted to stay in a place that no one would want to stay, and got out of it. Should be in a much better situation now.
Good for Davis - he finally gets the help he thought he was getting long ago.

That was under the old contracts. DeMarcus would have been walking away from far more money than LaMarcus could ever dream of. Cousins was strangely loyal to the Kings over all his time there. No comparison.

The only reasons I can think of us not outbidding this is PA is still too scared to get any Jail Blazer type players, or they thought they had no chance of re-signing him after LaBenedict.

Thank you @Jesus Christ Son of God ! I'm pretty sure just @Trackjack and I are the only ones that think this way, but I'm so relieved he's not coming here.... Let's dump the people(OR PERSON) we need to, and find a good fit or two.

This move should mean we don't make the playoffs and get a better pick for sure

Except the Kings will fall below us for sure; in fact they will be aiming for # 1.

Sacramento didn't get a whole lot for him. They must feel Hield is going to be the next Mitch Richmond for them. And who knows what that first is going to bring. The Blazers def had a better deal for them. If they didn't want to compromise the character of the team. That's fine, I get that. This GM needs to stay aggressive until the deadline and try to improve the team this year. I like Okafor even with the recent trade for Nurkic. They have the assets to make that deal. He has a nice future ahead.

Just another example of a star player being traded for less talent. Posters here get hated on for suggesting trades of unequal talent, but here we are again.

I am wondering if Sac actually tried to get a lot more, and every team in the NBA refused to offer much in return.
The Lakers refused to give up Ingram....for the greatest center in the NBA...........
    What do they all know?

He is 23, and isnt exactly lighting the world on fire thus far. I think people just figured boogie would fetch a better prospect.
