Unbeaten #11 WBC, #11 WBO, #13 IBF light heavyweight contender Marcus Browne (19-0, 14 KOs) destroyed former world title challenger Thomas Williams Jr. (20-3, 14 KOs) by a 6th round knockout on Saturday night on Showtime Championship Boxing from the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Browne knocked Williams Jr. down three times in the fight in dropping him in rounds 2, 4 and 6. The fight was stopped in the 6th round after the 26-year-old Browne knocked Williams down with a right hook to the head. Williams Jr. stayed down on the canvas pointing to his jaw instead of getting up. Referee Ken Milner then halted the match. The official time of the stoppage was at 0:42 of round 6.
