He can feel up the stats easily to help you out. He get points, rebounds, blocks, steals, some assists what else can you ask for from him? I'm guessing he went at 9th since its your 1st time and wasn't familiar with how the fantasy works. But then no Duncan and Redd until the 3rd round? Also there's no Boozer as well who's filling up the stat sheets.

Its been marion lebron and KG at the top for the past few years, thats why I made the thread. Im not gonna argue that marion is the best even though hes VERY close but its just not right to say hes out of the top 5 NEVERMIND the top 10!!

Ya Steve Nash not going higher was pretty bad, Tim Duncan should have gone late 2nd as he had his worst season of his career last year but no way he should have gone 3rd. I can't see Marion beating out anyone in the top 8 though....

If you look at the overall stats it shows that he is a top 3 fantasy player. Just because Kobe and Wade score more points per game and get more assists, and are better real life players, doesn't make them the better fantasy choice. Real life rankings have no meaning in fantasy. Nash wasn't really a top 10 pick before the season, but with the year he has had a lot of people did make mistakes with not drafting him earlier. He wasn't picked too late in that draft though.

^I think the reason that he didnt go as high in alot of drafts is because their was uncertainty about the playing time situation. Amare was coming back, Boris was coming back off of a great year, and I was questioning how his stats would be affected. He is still having a good year, but not as good as the year before that when Amare was out. In my league, I think he went 8th or something like that...

Shawn Marion is a top 2 selection in any Fantasy Draft. He consistently puts up 20/10 a game. Anyone who says otherwise should quit playing Fantasy Basketball.
