I think if Miami can package something together, they can pick up Maggette, or even pick up Steve Francis if hes released from New York. Both will give them athleticism, which they need to go along with Wade, Haslem and Wright.
Yeah, Wade, Haslem, and Wright are pretty much the keepers. Kapono would be pretty hard to trade, as well.
If the Heat can pick up another point guard or forward or center I think they will be better off. Wade, Haslem, Wright, and Kapono are probably keepers right now. I have a feeling that Zo and Payton will retire after this season. Shaq is untradeable but he won't be around much longer. J-Will has been getting injured a lot lately and I don't think Quinn can take over and be the starting PG, so I definitely feel that the Heat need another PG to help out besides them moving Wade over from the 2. Backup forwards are needed but not necessarily right away. A backup center would be nice though so that he could get used to the offense before Zo retires because I honestly don't think that Doleac will do for the team long-term.
Kapono's likely bolting this off-season I wouldn't call him a keeper at all. Some team in need of a shooter is gonna pay him big time money with the way he's been playing this season and I sure as hell don't want to lay out the cash for a shooter like him who could very well be a one year wonder. Like I've said several times before Wade-Wright-Haslem...we shouldn't be worried about keeping anyone else. This will be our last year of contention most likely until at least Shaq retires or his contract runs out.

THe only players we should worry about that was mentioned above is Wade,UD,Dwright. This may be the last year that were in contention until shaq retires or his contract is up but after that were going to have a ton of cap space and maybe we could find a solid player through this years draft like someone like Josh MCroberts, I don't know much about the college landscape right now but I would like having a PG like Daequan COok.
With a healthy Shaq and Wade, the Heat will always be in it for the championship. As long as we have those two healthy along with Udonis, Zo, Kapono and GP I think we're fine. A trade might help us in the long run but if you think about it, what have the Heat always struggled with? Free throw shooting and mid-range/long range jumpers. Kapono brings that to the Heat and if this is truely our last year with a chance, I say we don't pull any trades and keep the core the way it is.
