So...basically you're saying we should go from a team with two 23+ point scorers, to a team with two 23+ scorers and no bench.
] No he isn't, there's literally no proof of that whatsoever. At best it's speculation, at worse if it is true, we are easily outbid by Boston or some other team.
1) You wouldn't know until it actually happened. 2) PG has said that he wants to play for a winning team, and thus won't agree to sign an extension now. 3) I was actually joking.
Haha. I literally would not trade Dame/CJ/Nurkic at this point. I'd give up any other combination of players, and all our draft picks, plus my kitchen sink, to add someone like Paul George to that core though. Not that such a thing is even possible, but considering the Boogie trade....
I am not sure what to think of this: "The Trail Blazers pulled out at the last minute to take Denver's deal that brought back center Jusuf Nurkic and a first-rounder for center Mason Plumlee. Initially Denver was reluctant to part with the pick. Had the Nuggets refused to include it in the package, the Trail Blazers would have gone forth with the Sixers' deal." So we preferred Okafor but went with Nurkic because of the 20th pick in the draft? I hope that was not the only fucking reason. I think one can argue Nurkic is better because he adds toughness. http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...ch-philadelphia-76ers-inquiring-jahlil-okafor
Why do fans seem to always find every explanation as some kind of negative light being shined on something?
Agreed. Nurkic seems to be a much better fit because of his defense. Okafor might someday be a decent defender, but that is a big MIGHT. Sounds like Portland did a good job of leveraging one to get more value from the other.
These reports of Chandler and Okafor are really hurting Neil's credibility. After the Nurk trade I has back to being cautiously optimistic about him. But if he prized Chandler and Okafor higher than Nurk, then that's just additional evidence to lump in with all of his awful Free Agent targets that he (thankfully) mostly whiffed on.
Jeez dude. It means that Olshey thought they were nearly even and the 20th pick was the difference maker. It's not like the 20th pick isn't that valuable. We did get Plumlee for the 23rd pick in a weaker draft.
This is on Bleacher report. Portland Trail Blazers Get: Paul Millsap, Thabo Sefolosha Atlanta Hawks Get: Allen Crabbe, Meyers Leonard, 2017 first-round pick (via Cleveland Cavaliers), 2017 first-round pick (via Memphis Grizzlies)
Dude, there was just a report stating that Millsap isn't going anywhere. Do we really need to suggest other people's trades? Come up with your own!
Random reports of things that never happened are hurting his credibility? We didn't trade for Chandler. We didn't trade for Okafor. We DID trade for Nurkic. How about you judge him on what he actually did and not on what was supposedly being talked about?
