    Guessing they'll go after one of the Nuggets (Gallo/Chandler/Faried), but hard to imagine DEN giving em up for just cap savings. Rockets don't have any picks to trade-- just a salary dump.

    Sigh. The purpose of my post was simply to point out that we don't know what the deal was or what the team objectives were if, in fact, the Blazers were making a play for Chandler. It wasn't intended to say that was the strategy I would favor. If the Blazers were making a play for Chandler at some point before they made the Plumlee trade, my thought would be that Olshey was trying to make a last ditch effort to push the team into the playoffs. Trading Plumlee for Nurkic was likely raising the white flag on that objective and taking the longer view.

    That was a possible landing spot for one our bench guys in return for the WAS pick.

    Lou Will and Bogdanovic both were able to land first round picks in the 20s.

    Just read the Spurs are talking with the Suns about trading Lamarcus...said it wasn't working out in San Antonio for the dude....wasn't impacting the offense as much as expected...Parker and Ginobli want to win now and Aldridge is not a good fit according to the rumor
